Thread: What you would have to do.

    Default What you would have to do.

    If you want a tank class to be a tank class then you will have to change a lot in pve and right now you can't make this work due to the damage reflect mobs and suicide bombers. It can be possible in the level 86 expansion though.
    So if you want tanks to be tanks then you will have to remove all healing effects on rogs and mages in the new maps, only allowing warriors horn to heal them. You have to boost the mobs hp by a ton and at the same time decrease their damage so they can't just 3 hit rogs or mages. It should take maybe 15 hits for a rog / mage to die. This gives the warrior time to think and heal, works for new players and older players.
    Problem: warriors want pve kills, why run a map if it doesn't benefit your character? It will also result in being an extremely long and boring map to play. AL is about sitting in 1 spot attacking mobs and spamming skills until the mob is dead, there isn't much to dodging attacks since most of the attacks are not dodge able.
    Thats 1 major flaw as to why its boring.
    -Edit. It does have many options to make it not boring such as: a great reward at the end or crafting mats to craft 86 mythic gears, house items, make it where 1 kill gives all 4 in the map 1 kill towards pve, and more. All 3 classes are used, rog for dps, mage for mana healing, warrior for hp healing.

    nah. All sts need is to introduce a wep for warrior that is very good in pve. That's all!! No need proc stacking it is detrimental to the game short term and longterm tanks should be thankful they were given 2 years of dominance!. Quote me and ill give you 1million reasons why.

    You don't know what you're talking about.
    Proc stacking just like anything can be reworked weaker than it was.
    Whatever class you are, you will not be complaining if you got proc stacking gear for your class and you experienced it just to have it taken from you.

    All I can see in dominance is lb requirements. There's a reason it's called LB and only 1% clear it and it happens to be warriors with higher points mainly because of the map design which has more mobs than bosses. You can't have 10 bosses and 2 mobs..

    And warriors were strong in that..agreed.But theres other ways to rectify.

    My suggestion for maps would be following:
    Story maps: No changes.
    First portal: Let him deal twice the dmg and double the hp. Runs take longer and dps will die like flies in redzone
    Second portal: No changes.
    Third portal: Keep the damage, increase hp by 5x so the run takes longer, let warriors go down to 10%hp only (as in orrick) and keep other classes get 1hits. Increase gold loot only in this map by 1.5x.

    1st and 3rd maps are too easy and should require wars.

    You will still be able to do aoe attacks, the reason I added the mana regen is because if rogs and wars were able to use mana pots then it would be a 3 rog 1 war party.

    "Long and boring map to play"
    41 and 61 were the best expansions of all time. Spending hours to finish a single run with friends. Give this expansion some time ffs. It hasn't even been a week yet and all I can see is warriors crying and complaining about how they don't have it all anymore

    I’d rather switch class or game before I’d ever spec heal
    but do agree “tanking” isn’t a thing anymore n should be

    Maybe the wars arc weapon should have a pull like tb or something to make wars more needed

    That the second map has 4 mobs makes it a bit of a joke

    Yes, was thinking the same.. wars with a pull weapon and a dot or a bomb drop. Mages a mob shredding weapon and rogues maybe a more defensive weapon like 66 daggers.. I'm sure devs will figure it out.

    I do think adding it to where if 1 mob is killed by a player then all 4 players in the map running will get 1 counted towards pve would be very fair in terms of how this mode works. The boss loot could be a chance at new 81 mythics, you can even put a new expan map 5 in the game with this concept later on.

    but entering the map party or random should also be balanced, as there should be no all rogue, no all mage, and no all warior, there should be 2 war, 1 mage, 1 rogue, or whatever as long as there is one in each class in run and will not be able to enter if the class is not complete at the party.
