Sorry but you appear to have misunderstood the first sentence in the pic you posted. I clearly state that discontinued vanity items are not coming back in this event. I go on to say that new vanity items would be made from old equipment. This statement was made because a lot of players asked for the return of rare, old and LB vanities and a clarification was necessary.

As for the suggestion to add recipes so that we maintain a 1:1 ratio of old equipment to new vanities - we're not doing that... because, again, it's not what this event is about

@cinco can you please add shadow realm blade instead of vorpal axe for warrior , it’s the same effect , just a different shape .

They became collectors because they can own some of the most exclusive/rare and old good-looking items. Ofc we collector want to wear it all the time, but it is gear, not vanity.
Collectors spending weeks and months to find that exclusive old gears, that is their effort cuz they love this game, but i say this event without a recipe to convert items into vanity is a mistreat to them all.
I believe a recipe to convert old gear into vanity, for example, forerunner is some what a good way to praise their effort all these years collecting them.

I'm sorry but collecting old gears is the same as collecting Pepsi cap or matchbooks, it is very nice but it have only "sentimental value"!

Real collection are about stuff that was really hard to get, Exclusive LB banner or vanity, Exclusive store sales stuff, any vanity from event were you can see the year in the description etc

Changing old useless gears into vanity is a really cool idea and is really nice to see those design all around!!

You can't play in pt or random check it in the game, you only have the option to go solo
