he deserves the hype,, he wasn't known for his particular skill level (although he was consistently one of the better 15 mages), he's impressive because of the innovations he made at level 15 mage. He popularized almost every trend for mage at the level, first with 6 light as an alternative to 5 fire way back, then with ice storm builds, then with chunker mage (although I give most of that credit to that booster mage smdfdfxkitesxdfdblahblah and Zetris), until he quit.Originally Posted by omgteenwolf

Tbh OBM wasnt even the best in his time, it was always EMP and Harvey IMO. Yes what OBM did was harder because his ice build, but Harvey is/was unbeatable with the typical 5 heal build. To this day i still think Harvey is the best non-founders mage.
