It's a sticky, so that doesn't really matter.
The Star Guard was a group of people in the early days of SL that acted as a bridge between the developers and the players. Basically players that organized official events and were in regular contact with developers. The group has long since faded away.
Those who say it cannot be done should not stop those who are doing it.
