-1. What used to happen was you'd give up one event or just run it to plat tier, and then you'd farm 999+ kits for the next event. Bad business for STS and for players wanting to sell energy kits. It also gives an unfair advantage to those who prepared vs those that didn't. There's always been two types of players, those who can farm all day and power through the game, and the others who farm in real life. Less time in the game means wallet opens to keep up with things. Energy not stashable after an event was one of the necessary changes for the health of the game.
