SGS2 - Samsung Galaxy S 2 - Freeze

Anyone in here who had galaxy s1 and moved to galaxy s2?
Need to know if theres much difference in smoother play, duration of play in full charge and heat?
Friend going to buy new phone, sgs1 is in heavy summer sale now here while the sgs2 is still high priced.

I just upgraded from S1 to S2 few weeks ago, S2 has much smoother play, quite significant difference. Both are as hot if you play them long enough. But on duration in full charge, no idea because S2 crashes every few minutes or half an hour or so if I'm lucky.

I ended playing with S1 for now. Way to go Samsung!
