I actually think shoulders on which to rant are super important. Perhaps the most important. It is very difficult to be positive alone and much easier for someone a bit removed from the actual incident or emotion, to reassure us. Not that I have EVER whined or cried to anyone in game haha (jk. yes I have and thanks to everyone who has tolerated me through the years and various games!) And don't forget there are shoulders everywhere, not just in game: other chat programs, other games, live streams, email/voice chats with friends, phone calls. Use them all haha!
STS (actually no game company) can possibly keep track of all chats or even all goings on in game. The best the companies can do is attempt to keep scamming down and automate anti-bullying where possible. That is generally why there are ignore methods. Never underestimate ignore!
Also glad to hear rsi is cleaned up. My first impression of rsi was not good: town spamming guild accepting anyone. Anyways, good to hear it's better now.
