if you expect to get anything good from a few hundred plat then you probably haven't opened locked crates before. Try a few thousand plat and you might get 1 mythic.

i know how it works.. they are "mythic" and not arcane... i know the rarity don't have to let me know the mechanics ... i played since season 2 and open tons of plat crates since then till now..

I dont even get any decent vanity from opening the crates thats the point .

Have u looked at the price of the massive winter locks throughout the year? It had 5x pulls and good rewards, ppl were opening them frequently so the demand stayed high.

Massive dead chests also have 5x pulls, but the price is next to nothing now, mainly cuz ppl aren't opening them much...

Selling massive chests is the only way for people to earn gold from this event. Plat tier, and gold tier rewards are trash, and bosses drop nothing good.

I don't think you understand how economics work. Supply and Demand. The locked crates aren't super cheap because the demand is low. The demand is fine given how op the procs are. The locked crates are super cheap because the supply is through the roof. The crafting materials are less than 15k and a few tokens....what do you think those are going to sell for 100k+ forever? Not a chance, because anybody can make them with ease. Hence the large supply.

If you want those locks to have higher value then complain about the fact that locked marshland crates and locked valley crates have flooded the market, or ask sts to make it cost 3x of the old locked to make a new one instead of only 1x old locked. But even doing that wouldnt increase your profit margin so it doesn't really matter.

The locked crate recipes for tokens aren't intended to be a source of income. It's a way for sts to recycle old locked crates into new ones

There need to be a source of income for players.... and in this event its either graveyard location or the locks...

Now that locks are out of the question.... only things players can do is buy graveyard location for the next 3 weeks?
