    Spacetime Studios Fulfills Mission of Ubiquitous Gaming Experience

    AUSTIN, Texas – Dec. 9, 2011 – Spacetime Studios has achieved an industry milestone by removing the barriers between MMO players on different platforms. Pocket Legends and Star Legends, the world’s largest mobile MMO games, are now the first MMOs in history to allow people to play the same game together on desktop computers, smart phones and tablets.

    Spacetime Games are played on a single global server, which means it is now possible for someone in the U.S. to play on their iPhone with someone in Germany on their Android tablet and someone in South Korea on their computer.

    “There have always been technical walls between players of different platforms,” says Gary Gattis, CEO of Spacetime Studios. “Now, people are free to play on the device they choose with anyone, anywhere, anytime, whether they are at home or on-the-go.”

    Pocket Legends and Star Legends are Powered by Spacetime, technology built to support a global player-base on different devices and platforms interacting together within the same server-set. Spacetime Studios integrated Google Chrome Native Client (NaCl) technology with the Spacetime Engine to create the desktop clients for Pocket Legends and Star Legends.

    Pocket Legends and Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles are the world’s largest mobile MMOs with more than seven million downloads and a million play sessions weekly. Currently, Pocket Legends and Star Legends are playable on most Apple and Android mobile devices as well as Windows, Mac and Linux computers.

      I dont want to sound like a party pooper but you are not the worlds first desktop - mobile mmo. Other games like Shadow Era and I believe Graal have used this technology for months. I mean celebration for your feat is warranted for sure but to say your the worlds first without validating the statement is a bit bold esp when your not. Its like if China was to land a shuttle on the moon to colonize it. An achievement it is for sure but they cant go around saying "we are the first ever to land on the moon".

      As we understand it, Graal does not allow mobile and desktop to play together. Graal is also a 2d mmo. Shadow Era is a card game, and I am not sure that they allow ios, android, and desktop to play together either. PL and SL are 3d MMOs that allow Android, iOS, Mac,Windows, and Linux users all play together, in the same game universe, at the same time. There is some pretty crazy technology behind it that allows us to do it. To our knowledge, no other 3d MMOs allow you to do that. We're not saying we're first on the moon, we're saying we are the first 3d MMO on the moon ;-)

      Graal actually has two servers pc and iPhone. iPhone has the ability to log onto the pc server. Technically speaking, they are the first.

      sorry for double posting, but I believe STS would be the first 3D MMO. But I am unsure of this.

      hey samhayne, just wondering if you could consider what i emailed to samhayne. i asked him if he could forward to programmers if they could make the founders' helm like give out stuff like a glow on a person's head when they wave. the reason im writing to you is because i havent heard back from programmers. i mean like could u make it into a quest? or like when ambassadors and devs give out stuff, people with founders' helms could give stuff out too? the reason: some people who didnt get anything from the jan.1,2012 party got mad and some are wanting to quit pl im saying pl is a really good MMO already but if you could add my suggestion, im sure people will play more pl and invite their friends to play too! thanks for your time Mr.samhayne please consider this

      Wish ya wouldnt hav updated star legends now i kant play on my huawei activa 4g (m920) because ots no.lomger compatible even tho i play deadspace hd perfect
