Unfortunately living in aus i gotta expect it, at the best of times i have 360 ping but has to be a good day, n i hear of people complain when they have 150 ping ......wtf lol id love to have that :/

I live in Australia too, i get around 290-500 ping, but I'm getting telstra soon, i heard its way faster, i recommend u get telstra too, its like 25mb/s or 100mb/s if u get the expensive one

I live aus 2

and i get atleast 200-360 ping on a nice day if stormy i average 555 and i play on ipadmini and am generally 20ish metres away from router

That is 1.1 seconds. We aim for sub-1 second globally, but really it ain't that bad. What kind of connection are you on?

It isn't that bad in pve.

It's is that bad when you are pvping and can be killed in two skills.

Pvping it end game as an int Mage against a dex bird with elite bow is difficult with anything over 300.

Um angel, it's difficult for you to beat me (an elite bow dex bird) with any ping.

I was having horrible ping for months and months. (In the states) I did different ping test and trackers and it seems my ping was mainly having issues once it hit Amazon servers. I made a post about it somewhere but no Dev commented.

Within the last few weeks my ping has gotten better. But it will still spike often. I'm just glad it isn't the constant yellow/red.

I hear New Zealand had terrible ping like Australia. Multiple friends from there would lag out regularly.

I see why a lot of Aussies don't play these games.. The only ones that do either put up with the bad connection, or they're lucky with a good connection somehow.

Hitman is with me on this, Aussies are getting some bad pings, well I'm probably guessing for a very long time.

I'm trying to get my dad to look into this kind of stuff, I am already with Telstra Bigpond, and even that isn't working enough for me, hoping to find some high performance modem that can help me, I heard people can get up to 100mbps up in Australia, I only love under in Tassie not to sure what I can get here but hope I can get something better.

gonna do some Speed Test thingys if I can find them see what the stats are…

i saw this telstra plan that says the speed is 100mb/s (which sounds crazy for me coz i only get few mb/s)
i think u can still get this in tasmania , jus go to their website and check

Should be able to hey, btw I did a silly SpeedTest and my results are: Round About 58-63 Ping, Download Speed >> 4.63 - 4.65 Upload Speed >> Goes from 0.61 to 0.71

And btw, I have 200GB monthly + It's a 25Mbps, when I heard you guys could get 100mbps I'm like ;OOOOOOO 3x better, but yet what I don't understand why I keep getting 4.64mbps when it's a 25mbps max, shouldn't it be faster? need some education.

ok, there is a way to get your internet faster, a
what u need to do is to go to a telstra store, ask them for a "CABLE", its basically a thicker wire which makes your internet faster if u use it, i think that way will boost your speed to around 20+ mb/s

Also, Australia started to build this thing call NBN (National Broadband Network) which is 20x faster than your normal network, but only suburbs close to the city will have it at the moment

I heard something about that, isn't that the upgrade where its going to take years? Having to do separate places and such, can't wait for that to happen...
