Bear changes?

So I was reading through some of the posts in the other forums sections and it looks like there were quite a few changes made in the most recent patches. I have a level 16 bear that I've been leveling and I notice now that I'm using a LOT more pots and my hit rating is only at 68% when before it was a LOT higher.

As far as stats, I've been going STR for gear then the rest DEX. Did they change the way that STR and DEX calculate into the bear builds? Is it worth it to keep putting points into DEX?

Thanks for the help, I'm relatively new to the game (leveled an enchantress to 20 then started the bear).

That is not true, no offense Kossi but let me answer this one, as I believe I have plenty more experience with bears. So you still want to follow the general guideline of minimum in str and rest dex, they just nerfed dex to not make hit percent go up as much. By the time you hit 50 you will be around 88 hit percent, but when you wear full rift set (scimitar, screaming shield, rift armor, and ol rift helm) it will be at about 110 percent. So don't be too concerned about it yet in other words.

I put 55 dex and rest str.
Jss enuf to have 100% hit plus.
