Lets Get Started!
Attributes: 62 Str
2 Dex
76 Int
Now let me explain why 62 Str and rest all into Int. Its very simple. Firstly, one of the biggest problem in low level pallies is mana, you run out of mana very fast. So 76 int will give you 2 mana regen p/s and 50 extra mana pool. Secondly, 76 Int allows you to equip a SSC set for mana regen, coz you don’t wanna rejoin after every single fight as it gets very annoyed. Furthermore, it also allows you to equip a “int paw set”! (This will be explained later in the “Gears” section)
Builds: 6 Bom
6 Bov
6 Light
4 Heal
1 Frost
1 Drain
1 Ice Storm
1 Fire
Now this is my build for l27 Pally, let me explain the purpose of this build.
6 Bom: Obviously… for anyone who know mages will know
6 Bov: Why 6? Coz we are a pally, we tank bears! We tank FBOWS! Actually there is a purpose for this, will be explained later in the “Gears” section)
6 Light: Firsly I am a fan of light because of its high dmg, low cd, epic debuffs. At l6 light, it will do -5% hit -5dmg -5 armor debuff for every stack as it can stack almost 3 times (The third time only lasts for 2 second as it says on the description each debuffs lasts for 11 second)
4 Heal: 4 heal at this stage is enough to out heal the damage if you do it right
1 Frost: To starts the combo obviously, it’s a must.
1 Ice Storm: This is for close combat and freezing enemy in place preventing kiters, also another layer of ice to give more chance of a combo!
1 Drain: high drain isn’t needed at this stage and 1 drain is to counter enemy’s drain or to give you another little heal in an emergency
1 Fire: To get Combo on enemy and as a finishing move. Most low level mages have 1-3 fire, so as pallies too.
Zero Mana Shield: Why?! For me, I think ms at this stage is useless, if you use my build correctly you shouldn’t get nuked therefor no need a mana shield, also mana shielding with a str build gives you a big disadvantage.
Combos:
Things to keep in mind:
Remember landing your lightning is the key thing.
Get close for ice storm > fire combo and autos
Always heal as soon as bears HS
Pin your enemy to your auto range coz you will be using a reaper which have a chance to land a debuff.
Vs ALL CLASSES: At 12m Frost (while running) > light (while running even closer to auto range) > ice storm > Fire > heal>light. Repeat.
Remember “Builds are stable, but combos aren’t” you can always do whatever you want depending on the situation.
Gears:
There is 3 setup, 1st Pally 2nd Paw 3rd Regen
Requirement: l20 bear 4 pack
(It doesn’t matter if you’re using “conqueror’s” or “of legend”, one have higher health regen, the other have higher hit)
Face: Dark elf +2% hit. It’s my fav face
Pally:
L25 PINK Int Halloween Helm
L25 PINK Ghoulish Reaper’s Blade
L20 Conqueror’s Battle Armor
L20 Battle Shield of Legend
Ring: Champion’s Fine Crystal Ring L20, 67 Base Int
2% Crit, 2M/s, 4 Damage (Why this ring? Coz we have enough armor and we need some crit m/s and dmg)
Now, why this setup? I like to use balanced gears, that’s why I choose to use one Conqueror’s and one Of Legend. For helm, the reason why I didn’t use Str is because Int Hallo helm Gives more hit, crit, dodge and Int to balance out so that we aren’t losing so much of those stats. Reaper blade is the strongest Pally 1 hand weapon at this level and comes with a DEBUFF! YAY!
Paw:
L25 PINK Int Halloween Helm
L25 PINK Fiendish Monkey’s Paw
L25 PINK Int Halloween Marrow Mantle
L20 Battle Shield of Legend
Ring: Champions Fine Crystal Ring L20, 67 Base Int
2% Crit, 2M/s, 4 Damage
Now I use this setup for fighting some tank plat pack bears, but usually I won’t use this setup.
Also to trick ppl so that they think you’re just a paw mage
Regen:
L25 Crystalline/Earthquake set (Alchemist’s can be used)
Ring: Champions Fine Crystal Ring L20, 67 Base Int
2% Crit, 2M/s, 4 Damage
Here you can use this setup to refill your mana and show off your sparkling sexy body
