Poorly funded
So I'm poorly funded, lv 50 bird who cannot afford the megablaster or the sunblessed bow yet. I do get a decent amount of money doing keeper runs for totems but this is way too slow - I basically killed off a ton of money buying Power Leveling Elixirs to get to 50 faster (dropped from like 100k down to 25k). I am at 40k now and wondered what my best gear set up- especially the weapon, not just the gear- would be until I can afford either/or. Any thoughts?
even when i have the cyber blaster, the ballista of fortune is almost as good!
also try full whipcord, and if you can do cyber, you basically have a free full void set
Hmm I have the Ballista of Fortune, is it better than my current weapon?
Ballista of Fortune: 138-173 Damage, 1.1 Speed, 8 Dex, 2% Dodge, 5% Hit, 2% Crit, 3 Armor
Trueshot Bow of Velocity: 111-151 Damage, 0.7 Speed, 6 Dex, 1% Dodge, 2% Hit, 3% Crit, 1 Armor
I lose roughly 27 min and 22 max damage but gain 82 DPS with the Trueshot Bow - I like DPS, but is the huge damage boost worth the lowered DPS?
How about fight things, trying each weapon? Equip a weapon,fight, see how it goes. Equip another one. Also, different procs do different things so sometimes I'll change weapons in different areas.
Being 'poorly funded', you should consider the talon / wing. They are pretty cheap now, and the extra defense will limit your pot needs. Rock that till you get full cyber and you should be good to go.

If u can't afford it, then farm it. Took me a while to get my gears, but u will get there. And wing/talon is a great combo, in use it all the time fighting bosses.

Thank you for your reponses. Yeah I've been farming/gathering totems and slowly getting money back. Up to 140k now from 25k because I found the Rift Shield and Cosmo helm to sell. What's the name for the talon/wing I am looking for?

i wasat low money too i had 1326 and so isold a feindish doll pink lvl 50(a halloween item) i was thinking of keeping but till i saw the prices of the doll i soled it for 125k. it took an hour so then i wasted the money to buy a screaming rift sheild for my soon to be lvl50 tank. I kept 65k soi started gaining tomes i earned money by killing keeper and liquidating junk luckily i gto a keeper staff of cosmos. i soled it and noow i have 97k im still saving and fighting keeper SAVING FOR WRAITH

I dont think having the best gears make u a good bird, I have seem folks with full void and still suck. I'm not saying I'm a good player, but u shoulda seem some of them play.
