Can you get banned for scamming?

I have been scammed by many people (mainly spartandude and vagitarian, which are the same person) but I was wondering if you can get banned for scamming? Thanks!

Before you "trade"/give something to someone, it tells you that you should only trade with people you know you can trust. Yes, sometimes you get unlucky, but it gives you a warning right in front of you.
