Ahh, from my College Days, some for you folks to check out.
1) Ninja Scrolls. By Far my favorite.
2) Please Save my Earth . An OVA short series (compiled to a movie form, good twist, kinda weird 'third act')
3) City Hunter (Great series, extremely fun)

Grew up on the Japanese-bastardized-for-the-US-market anime.
"the what?" you ask? Starblazers, Robotech, Battle of the Planets, Speed Racer...decades later watched them subtitle (and fandubed), and in the correct order ( like Macross). Gonna be a giddy fanboy when the live-action Space Battleship Yamato hits dvd.

Current anime I like are Bleach, Full Metal Alhemist and FLCL...though I like others. Tokyo Gofathers has been my X-mas "must watch" for three years now.

Muhahaha! Monday @ Best Buy I got the entire Cowboy Bebop series boxed set for $35! Seems BB is slashing dvd prices to make room for more Blu Ray titles.

I know some of y'all haven't heard of this one before but when I was in Japan I watched this anime show called "Azumanga Daioh". It so addicting and fun to watch pretty funny too! You can watch some episodes of it on YouTube in English dub.

Reborn... is an amazing one..anime I'm currently watching, main character is a 10th gen. mafia boss. Than there's eyesheild 21, bleach, naruto, gintama, fairy tail, DBZ.

Ok...JUST saw commercial for new Thundercats series. O.o Animation looks better, but don't know if the cheesiness will be there. July 29 on Cartoon Network
