Scammer gets caught!- Breaking news -
So im hanging out in Balefort when my brother tells me that one player is scamming people in balefort, so i decide to catch him red-handed
NOTE: i did want 10k at first, but he took down the money too fast for me to screenie :/
I shall keep the staff and have it as a memory of people i caught

I think the proper term is scam-handed
And if he doesnt get banned for scamming, then hes gettin banned cursing up a storm

ahhh...people these days. There are easier ways to make 10k then scamming people...Heck, if had actually just asked me and he actually needed it i probably would have given him the 10k or staff or whatever it was he was trying to get..lol

Going under the name Cladiator now according to some people in Balefort.
Haha that same guy said he was buying a lvl 10 purp snowball launcher so I pmed him and I asked him what price he wanted to start at and he said 150k!!! I said yes of course then I put it up and he tries to do same thing to me doesn't put money in and pretends to lag haha!
Easy solution to this problem for the devs? Make it so when both players hit accept trade, another window could come up saying "look closely, are you sure you wish to trade (your items/gold) for (their items/gold)?". With this screen showing what both players are exchanging, coupled with the fact that from this screen you can only hit yes or no and cannot add/remove items while on this screen, it would be a relatively simple ( I think? Lol) fix to the current scamming problem. It's worked in almost every other mmorpg I've played to eliminate trade scams, it should work in PL as well.
This is just an idea for the devs to consider for the future, as scams like this are only sure to increase in the number of ppl doing them, as only a fraction of players actually seem to enjoy playing legitimately ( so tired of ppl who got powerleveled to end-game stuff and still don't know even the basics of their class and scammers, not even just in this game).
Sorry guys had a rough day, followed by some extremely painful hideout runs chock full of nothing but the "OMG!! Powerlevel!" types previously mentioned. I'm not the best player by any means, but I at least know how to play my class, as does anyone else who actually plays through the game!

Didn't understand from the pics and exhange of words how profess... was doing it. So how should we ensure we will not be scammed by these idiots?
Here are solution for not getting scammed
1. Never give out money unless you don't care about getting it back
2. Count the number of coins when trading
3. Before you click look at everything items or gold make sure everything is what its suppose to be
4. If you trading more than 4 items, pay as you go, pay the amount of the 4 slots and then pay the rest after the first trade
5. NEVER give out email, password
6. Gotta be smart
