    Default [Suggestion] Keep bosses to drop ankh permanently

    first of all, thank you making bosses to drop ankh on this short mini-event
    it really relieves me from fear of getting poor and unable to play arena anymore...

    please, please keep it permanent , i promise you it will make many players thank you for this,
    and it's not like we will get rich immediately with having a farmable ankhs, since you can't trade it for money directly,
    but it will encourage most of us to play and farm again (where ankhs already become necessity)

    probably the drawbacks will be people who are selling ankhs will be on rage, but plat sellers can always sell elixirs to get money

    I think they should up the drop on event to 3 ankhs and keep the 1 ankh drop permanently, because it's just too expensive.

    It would certainly encourage more players to do elite content merchers may not like though..

    I'd only like it permanently in elite maps to give people a incentive to run them more often and plat buyers woudnt be able to make much money buying and re selling them for gold

    The idea with elite is fine, but don't let them drop on easy elite bosses. (people will keep farming elite Jarl). Dead City and up will be fine

    well honestly i found that the current drop rate and system is fine...

    i can farm around 10 ankhs average in 30 minutes (thanks to easy map, yes), and it can be used for 1-2 planar tomb 3 runs, which will be around 20-30 minutes per run when the timer is on again (no mobs scaling)
    so if you do planar tomb's daily quest, you will play around 2 hours, that's plenty enough average game time for average players

    in fact, if possible i'd like ankhs to drop more, e.g. a 100% chance on elite, it's not like we'll become instantly rich by farming ankhs... you'll eventually have to farm and farming doesn't always give you good gold, especially concerning potions cost for average players

    I think each season of maps should have a "something special" extra drop. Like teeth, they would be rare (but farmable) in Normal, and double odds in Elite.

    Planar Tombs currently give Fragments
    Tindirin have Teeth
    Nordr could be for Ankh (5 ankh drops)
    Kraken Isles could have 50 HP pot drops
    Dead City could have 50 Mana pot drops

    This way, when you are in need of something and don't have the gold (or don't want to spend the gold), you can go somewhere and farm

    Its an good idea but it wil give sts les money so they wont put it in game.

    Lets just leave them as events... maybe frequent with appropriate drop chances.

    If ankhs becomes so easy to get, then people are going to be able to play alot mre arena then before, therefore the prices of what you get from arena will drop. I think its nice to remind everyone that arena just like tombs was meant to be hard end game elite content.It is not supposed to be easy to complete, and having that many ankhs will surely make it easy...

    i always think that no farmable price will stay the same by time... even now, recipe have already dropped several millions since the last time, if you want to take profit by merching, you always have to do it quickly, be one of the firsts.

    and on another point, i'd like to keep AL playable as free game to everyone, it's okay to keep it as a freemium game, but right now, with ankh as a necessity, it already become non-free game anymore because you can't play without ankh, okay you can buy it at cs, but the fact that someone bought ankh kits with platinum is still there... yes arena suppose to be hard end game content, but currently it is unplayable to some, and many decide to stop.

    and as far as i know, many players that i know who are farming in arena still complaining how arena make them poor... and believe me, having ankh farmable like this pace won't make arena gets easier than before. you still have to farm around 30 minutes for 10 ankh, and in worst case you have to spent more than 10 to fight in one arena run... just imagine how much game time needed to play there.

    I understand your point. But due to the fact that the mythic pendant is very rare and costs 10m, it makes the arena a farmable place IN THE LONG RUN, which means after a long period of time, you have to do aklot of arena. So obviously, if you want to make money in the long run you are going to have to buy around 1m or more of ankhs. 10m-1m=9m and thats a huge profit, which is why ankhs are expensive. Planar tombs is a place that is farmable alot faster then arena, if you can't afford many ankhs, that place is best suited to you. Having every single arena boss have a 1/3 chance to drop ankhs makes me and many players NEVER ever need to buy any ankhs.

    Wouldn't this just allow for more 1-hit bosses in the future? Without the implementation of ankhs in the first place, there would be a massive outcry in response to the 1-hitting planar tombs bosses and the arena bosses. If ankhs become more easily attainable, it would mean less gold spent on the current maps/bosses presently, but it would open the doors for every new boss to be a PVE death machine in the long run. Who would care about deaths if we just got ankhs along the way? I did enjoy getting ankhs during the event, but only because elite PVE currently consumes a lot of ankhs. I don't like ankhs in general because it makes 1-hitting bosses acceptable.

    If you are very skilled, you can minimize your deaths, but bosses like the the one in pt3 and a couple in arena have their cheap shots that are unavoidable (regardless of how skilled one may be).

    I'm obviously not referring to warriors, but maybe instead of more ankhs and stuns and huge red zone K0's (yes, enraged Frostir, I'm looking at you!), warriors can actually serve a purpose again by having a skill set that enables them to more effectively minimize the deaths of their rogue/mage teammates (the occasional 2-sec immunity from HoR doesn't quite cut it anymore). Instead of turning to free ankhs for these unavoidable deaths, let's give warriors the ability to prevent such deaths. Then they can actually get an invite to elite PVE runs in the future.

    Maybe make only elite maps or higher level maps drop them, to prevent the inevitable Jarl exploits we already see with crates.

    @bliss Any fix for warriors in PvE is still a ways off.

    If / when it is implemented, there will be still more time where warriors need to actually learn how to use those skills and play effectively. At this point in time there's only about 5 warriors in the game I consider to be highly skilled in PvE. Once they are useful again skill-wise, the players will have a steep learning curve to figure out how to make themselves an asset.

    I don't think the occasional ankh dropping from bosses really has much to do with that. After all warriors die sometimes too. We even manage to kill Maarkus and Rav when we try hard enough.

    This system indirectly exists...

    KM3 -> Locked -> Buy Ankhs -> Farm Arena/Tombs


    So...

    I don't see why developers cannot make a more direct system that cuts out some of the steps.

    Shuyal could drop random elixir crafting components (reroll, DMG, Speed, etc.) that can be crafted into kits; similar to Essences --> Gems
