    Default What's up with Breeze's attack range?

    Is it shorter than the other pets have?
    Test with other pet:


    With Breeze:

    Ps: i stand a bit closer to the boss with Breeze and it does nothing.

    Can a dev confirm this?

    Breeze is a very blind pet. Its very annoying. I wish it had a normal pet's line of sight.

    It also auto targets trulle, all the time, that's annoying.

    I had to use his aa because somehow it autotargets enemies which helps breeze "see" the boss even in the small arena.

    I'll like to use during boss fights cuz its freeze but i can't, cuz i need to stand really close to let him attack. Not worth it. Btw i haven't seen its AA freezes bosses so i need to use other pet.

    Passive ability is like slags right moment save. I alwaya go with a party of 4 breezes for arena, 4x freezw, Lol.

    I know passive freezes, i use in arena too, but in t3 it's more dangerous.

    Usually, I just Summon-De-summon then AA, always if i am doing a pull. And the tank will be aggro-ing so I have 0% chances of dying too :P

    Breeze will also very often attack barrels/crates with his AA even when there are mobs around. Or target a single wandering mob when there is a grouped cluster that's closer to him.

    I believe that when Breeze was under construction during the nerf/buff cycle the devs said that Breeze was going to tether closer to the toon, which is why it doesn't attack unless you're right on top of the enemy.

    You can thank the PVP cry babies for this.

    well, the reason to tether breeze closer was good anyway, they want breeze to attack the one that player in pvp usually want to

    so in the start, the pet movement algorithm is flawed
    always milking, no service

    Breeze is a melee range pet. You are comparing Breeze to ranged pets like Blinky, Malison, Ribbit, etc.

    Ranged pets will always have better attack distance than melee (thus the shorter leash), kind of like how Warriors can't attack more than a few meters away.

    As a Sorc/Rogue, you can combat this by using Gale/Pierce to blast through the boss, and activate Breeze's AA as he follows you.

    it is plain too short...

    sts should improve pet movement... even mobs can move smartly between normal attacks, and ranged mobs can move sidestep while attacking to their front,

    why can't pet move like this, if pets can continuously moving while attacking, complaints like pets aren't close enough, won't exist, and we won't need to reduce pet's leash range to ridiculously small like breeze's

    Also, (especially in planar tombs 3), Breeze aa always targets the one skeleton thats running towards the group of the skeletons that we're trying to take out. Very annoying when you stand and spam pots as a tank and can't even use a taunt skill, or else you would die. Why freeze the one single mob? Breeze needs to be fixed.
