How to get cyber quests?

Hey guys, I'm wondering how you get the cyber quests in AO3. I've seen the strange black dude who says he has items for trade for totems and stuff. But I don't get any quest from him! Is this a glitch? Am I too low lvl? (32 ATM almost 33). How do I get the cyber quests?

I wonder if it would make sense to lower the level requirement to 45, now that BS is out. Those quests were there to give us something to do when 50 was the cap. But now I think most people at 50 will move on to BS and no one will do the cyber quests.

It would at least give level 45ish people an extra incentive to play AO2 until 50 rather than trying to join BS games.

Yeah I moved back to AO2 curretly at lvl38 farming Plasma Pyrimid since it has awesome drops,gold and exp. Thanks for answering my question again

I have an addon to this question:
i killed like 5 gurgox, 0 overlords and atleast 10-20 berserkers/snipers/lore and i didnt get 1 totem?
glitched quest? should i abandon and come back? im lvl 50 btw,

gurgox doesnt drop as often keeper and OL drop keeper drops 2 sometimes 3!

I have no reply to that. That quest was as annoying as... Eating a pancake on a rollercoaster. Aww nuts ive never even dine that b4.

The 1024 tome quest is nothing. I did it on my other character within an hour. I got them quick enough that they on-screen count was off by 200 when I was finished. It took about 10 min for it to catch up. For everyone else doing that quest, I suggest going to Magic Castle.

If you are just doing regular runs (i.e. map I through V) you will only get a max of one.

I would recommend doing Victory Lap once you hit 50 (potentially even later). Check out Physiologic's post here about farming that map. http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...29-Victory-Lap

Yeah I read that thread before. Physiolohic is awesome! Although at the beginning I would recommend taking out the trio since they can give awesome drops.
