How to post a Picture on the forum using android

There are alot of people still struggling to post a picture on the forum.
I hope this helps

download photobucket app

Register an account and loggin

press the upload tab at the top

then this window will pop up

Find the image you want and press the blue upload button.
Then click the my album tab and your picture should be there.

Select your picture and then press the menu button (mines the left of the home button).

now press the view links button and then the direct link

then on the forum press

and this window will pop up

Simply paste the direct link into this box and your image should be ok

I am still seeing forum members having problems posting pictures.
im looking through the contest threads and keep seeing question marks where the pics should be.
i created this guide to help.

I dont know about on a pc or mac as i use my android phone.
but i would think its easier.
so if anyone has any other ways to post pics your welcome to post them here

You should've named this "how to post pictures on an android" as there's ready one like this for iPhones ^_^ do you know how to do screenshots? Because a lot of people ask lol and it'd be nice to be able to direct them here if you include it in your guide

Yeah i know but i cant change thread title now

Now for screen shots you need a rooted phone theres an app called z4root thats very good for rooting.

on an unrooted phone theres just one button called root if pressed the phone will reboot and will be rooted. (If im breaking any rules i will delete the rooting part)

download an app called shoot me

open the app and press hide this will send app to run in the background
you can set this app to take a picture of the screen by either shakeing the phone or shouting.
i prefer the shake mode so open pl and when you want to take a screenshot just flick your wrist to shake the phone.

damn the droid photobucket app is way better than the ipod one

i cant rotate images uploaded at all.

please feel free to put it into this thread as it will help other users post to the forum.

U know just because theres question marks doesnt mean they dont kniw how to post. It may be because they deleted the photo from their photobucket account. This happened to me once. O.o

Maybe so
I didnt mean any offence sorry if it came accross that way.
But i created this guide for people who are having difficulty posting.

Ive just found another app if your having trouble with photobucket.

find app called URLy

open the app and press the file upload tab and then the tab at the bottom that looks like a cube of squares

And this menu will pop up click select picture and it will take you to your gallery.

after you have selected what picture you want you will see a tiny thumbnail of your pic

now click the bottom right button that looks like a play button and the file should upload

after thats done a link should appear in the bottom bar with a status light
simply copy that link and paste it in the forum insert image box

i hope this helps as an alternative to photobucket enjoy !

I use shoot me on a non rooted evo and it works fine as long as there isnt to much movement on screen.

Yeah i wanted to edit the title but it doesnt let you change it after you post a thread.

I have found an awsome picture editor for android.
This is the pro version there is also a lite free version too.

first open picsay and click new and set size as 500x100

you will now have a blank canvas to work on.
By using the effect button you can insert pictures, paint and lots of picture effects.

when you have created your sig press export and save to sd card

open your sig pic in your gallary on phone and press details to check yor pic is 15kb or under, I usually go 14kb just to be safe.

dont worry if your pic is over 15kb just open picsay again edit your picture click more then transform picture and then resize .

input a new size thats smaller and save again, its trial and error so just keep repeating until file is under 15kb.

upload pics onto photobucket or alternative check my other posts in this guide.
Then on forum click the settings tab at the top of the page then edit signature.

click on option 1 and paste your pictures photobucket url

After that click thdm upload button and finally the save signature button.

I hope this guide helps and enables you to make awsome signature.
