When looking through the CS in star legends, you can filter the items by theyre rarity. And it still goes in the same order as pocket legends...
ie. trash, common (white), uncommon, rare, epic and LEGENDARY!!
...which leads me to believe that Sam may have lied to you... IMO, i think that they should keep it the same as PL.

Yep I think some greens are place holders for pinks, so at release they may be pink.
Also there is no pink crafting items purple is highest.

I'm impressed Sam, this is my first good look at a SL map and I can already see that it will be a great game. You guys focused a lot more on the detail of the maps. One thing that always got on my nerves in Pocket Legends was that the outside of the map is just a black pit…. 
