Lv35 Custom Gear - Now with Weapons

My item compendium now has all the new custom, lv35 gear and all the recipes.

This does not include set bonuses, yet. My guess would be that they are in-line with the set bonuses of the Lv30 armor.

(If you want to help to compute set bonuses, be sure to record your stats with customized armor equipped in 4 out of 5 slots and the remaining slot equipped with a NON-custom version of the gear. Record your stats, and then replace the non-custom piece with the customized piece.)

For Armor...

It takes 100k to upgrade your Lv35 armor fully. The material requirements for Lv30 and Lv35 armors are the same.

Commandos get +50 MP for upgrading their armor.
Engineers get +75 MP for upgrading their armor.
Operatives get +50 HP and +25 MP for upgrading their armor.

For Weapons...

It takes 20k to upgrade your Lv35 weapon. The material requirements for Lv30 and Lv21 weapons are the same.

For all weapon upgrades, you get +1 STR, INT, or DEX (from +5 to +6) and either +5 HP or +5 MP.

I'm not sure if upgrading your weapons does anything else.

Truly, the looks of things adds to the aesthetic quality of the game. People in space are concerned with fashion too, yo! I do see your point on the commando armor Kahlua. I like commandos to look like mechs too - just seems tough. I didn't get L30 plat armor for that reason - the custom meganaut is like a shell casing! Plus - I like a helmet that covers my commando's face.

They are all color-mapped versions of the same model. In fact, they have the same names, too! (It made my life easier, at least...)

The weapon one isn't too bad. It's just 20k, and the mats are junk.

Well at least I have enough for full custom. I got a recipe and I have 80k jingling in my pocket. Problem is I can't find the PlasmaTech items!

IB iv had a few players now say that the custom brings no 'effect', and because I wasn't in the instance with them im unsure of the set bonus.

Boss 3 - Arms and Legs.

Boss 5 - Helm, Shoulders and Chest.

But remember the drop rate for your currrent class is less than it would be for an alt or another class. So run with a group that needs same kinda gear and would be willing to swap if needed so in your case Abe, don't run with too many other Engi.
