Can someone tell me what should I use. A wand w/ shield or a staff.

I know staffs tend to have higher damage but I want to use a shield, which should I choose?

Have both so if you find that you're taking more damage than you feel comfortable, use a wand + shield. If you are a nuke Mage, and there's a good tank on your party, then use staff.

As a avid mage myself I prefer the wand, When you have a staff equipped you lose alot of armor. When you have a wand/shield you can keep most of the damage and alot more armor, I think its a nice trade

Thr haunted doll is a shield.

if you rach Lv 35 i suggest you to use Voodoo wand and shield, my character have voodoo wand its rly good!

For you you can compare stats between staff and wand w shield.

You can buy it in auction shoppe. The voodoo gear is rather rare.

If you want more regeneration, use wand and shield, if you want more damage use staff. Staff mages in pvp are like bears. I suggest using staff for bears and birds and wand and bracer for mages.

Definitely have both on hand I use wand shield when I don't have tank but I use staff when I got tank and my focus is healing group more than it is fighting
