I have a few comments/questions, along with some pros vs cons that I see with this change.

As of right now anyone with the elite vanities can equip them for an "Elite Vanity Bonus" (+1 crit, +5 dodge, +55 HP, +15 Armor)

Also while gaining the this "Elite Vanity Bonus" that same character is capable of equipping a vanity ring of varying stats, one of my favorite rings on bear is "Fine steel ring of Technique" (+1% dodge,+2 H/S , +5 armor)
Side bar about the rings I have over 30 rings spread over my 16 toons and find that in PVP where one ring isnt that effective against specific builds another ring is. With the loss of this ring slot not only will we be losing stats but we will be more generic in builds at end game creating, IMO a bigger issue then looking the same!

So in reality, I am able to attain a bonus of (+1 crit, +6 dodge, +55 HP,+2 H/S, +20 Armor)

With this change occurring the only stat increase im seeing that is different from the "Elite Vanity Bonus" is the additional +3 to Str, Int, Dex. which in my opinion is COOL but doesn't seem to make up for the loss of the additional ring stats??

Questions:
1) Am I not adding this right?
2) Will we be given an additional ring slot so we are able to equip multiple rings?? (after all we do have more then one finger)
3) What will happen to all the rings we have spent "REAL MONEY" on?


PROS
-Wont all look alike
-Can wear what ever vanity we want
-ALL players now have a chance for ELITE VANITY BONUS!!

CONS
-Will lose stats
-Wasted money on rings that cannot be used on these toons any longer
-Character builds will become more generic at end game then they already are

Personally i see this whole 'Elite to Rings' as a bad move. Not only are rings not seeable, they're only supposed to be a very small extra, but making something as big as Elite Cap Bonus as rings is basically dumbing them down.

Also, why is it good that EVERYONE can get the bonus now? How is that fair to the veterans who grinded 100k WITHOUT elixirs? In harder dungeons as well. Elite cap were ELITE for a reason, dont destroy that reason. You need to remember that the community isnt just Elixir crazed people who cap in a matter of days and hates playing with people who cant afford or doesnt want to use thrasher 24/7.

As much as i hate to say it, STS are falling victim to what ruins every game in this genre: Making it too easy...

Your assumption would be correct however....either way, You cannot stack these bonuses as of now nor should you EVER be able to. TBH that goes against the exact thing that was stated by devs in regards to this update "to give a level playing feild to new players"

it is important to keep a somewhat level playing field so that newcomers don't feel they can't ever possibly compete.

I think dragon armor and helm could be fused into the dragon pet and whenever you want to sell a peice you can just unfuse the dragon. Stats can be in the dragon..And you can wear the dragon too if you want. Since there trying to get people to look different i think this would work. Anyone see what im sayin?

Just to be clear, you do not lose your vanity items. You'll still have them after you do the quest and obtain your ring.

You should be more afraid of the Dragon vanities being stacked with ring of glory...... bad news for endgamers that dont own dragon set

The difference is that everyone can get the dragon vanities, at any point if they decide to grind for them and spend plat on the dragon pet. No one would have complained about elite cap vanity bonus if they were still able to acquire them (even if it was extremely difficult to get).

The thing is, if everyone is grinding and wearing dragon armor IT AGAIN defeats to point of this change, because everyone will still LOOK THE SAME!
