Is it worth it to buy these for my mage? Since the Ursoth's event will be over soon, I was thinking that mythic gear would be nice for my mage. Is it worth it spending 1.5m and not getting any return?

Mythic armor (upgraded) is still the best armor in the game
In my eyes its worth,you should buy the set

For a Mage,.no. The ancient Druid gear is higher armor for a little less damage. For the huge cost savings over mythic you would be better picking up a mythic ring and/or amulet.
question:
what about mythic rogue gear?

Armor wise, true...however it is still dominant in DMG/DPS and is used in PvP too... Also Mythic Armor is cool and grants a huge AP bonus and a "swag" title.
Also mythic gear has 3 gem slots so with a set you'd get 6 slots instead of 4.

If you plan to PvP, mythic gear is almost essential. I did ok in clashes with Magma, but that was mostly curse kills, and supporting the team. I got mythic gear, and now I can destroy alot of mages and rogues, and still do even better in a clash because you can do even more damage, and with even more int from mythic, your heal is better.
