Well I've heard some people already looted crap, but just remember, it's luck.
To me, the double odds is not helping crates at all.. The only profitable items to loot now are Arcane rarity and we all know how infinitesimally small that loot chance is.
The majority of valuable items looted from crates are the declining mythic items (helm/armor, rings/amulets). They are outdated and I believe the crates need a new addition if they are to be opened at the rates before.
Something off topic would be my idea of releasing different mythic sets so there would be more gear diversity. A set for elite and a set for PvP, therefore there would also be a hybrid set. I think it would also add more revenue for STG since plat-spenders would be trying to loot a variety of items and won't be limited to just a small amount of outcomes. It makes sense... People would impulsively open more crates if there were 10 mythics chances in crates instead of say, 5.
If STG wanted to add incentives for opening more crates, they could always release special gems in the crates such as crit gems, armor gems, and/or proc gems. They could tweak the loot chance so the gems won't be extremely cheap.
I kinda rambled a bit but that's just my opinion with the current crates.

I can't comment, this time I've decided 'guaranteed' profit as everytime I open 100-200 locked I lose gold even on previous double mythic weekends and sharkweek was a farce so I sold all mine. One thing I would say is STS should release the % chances for the roulette wheel know as locked. Gambling for 13 year olds is bad enough, but gambling without knowing the odds is wrong.

I have opened 150 locked crates with this double odds. I got 2 ethyl eggs, 1 scorn, about 500k gold and useless pinks.goodluck guys !

I got a Mythic helm for rogue. Thats about it so far. (Opened 30 crates)

Opened 150 crates, 250 crates and 70 elondrian crates left.
Got a HJ and 3 lunars, Ridiculous.
PVP and when you die open a crate, Thats what I did haha.

Alow me to explain, yes double odds is double odds I do belive the odds are doubled, however you have triple the amount of people opening them so the probability of you looting something is actually worse lol.

The amount of people opening don't influence the odds.
If the mythic items in lockeds worth something consistent, probably less people will be here complaining.
Lockeds need a lifting, botox or something.
