I'm a NON-PLAT player who has a myth set on mage/rogue, yet, I agree with Zeus fully on this subject. We got myth helms over 2 years ago!? And myth armors not too long after that, and then next expansion they were Upgraded and are still the best?!? Why wouldn't players want the chance to actually have NEW BETTER gear to work towards? Using the same gear and never having to work for better items is what's really killing AL..

The only way upgrading mythic or imbued sets wouldn't destroy the economy is of they are worse than the new elite sets. Then the new gear will be worth farming and all these complainers can still use their old armor.

Of course if the stats are worse than new sets no one will want to upgrade. So it makes sense to just leave the old sets alone and work for the new ones.

the whole problem that everyone makes on that upgrading old mythic's gear and making a new gears thing.
actually it's not about guys like Zeus wanna every thing to be expensive and impossible for non-plat players (as some of you replay's to him) to keep them selves the cream of the crop regardless of every thing and every one else. and it's also not about that a lot of other ones who wanna some excitement on the game, something to keep us wanna playing for, hard to obtain, exclusive and stay expensive when get sold like Ralchior, serancha, avaree, and me in the first place.

it's all about the way STSG built that game actually. it's all built on get lucky, rolling the wheel to get the 0.0001 item that you dream about. that's the real problem which ruin the game every time for over than year, that what make some of the great players retire it because there's anything to do they did it all. and some other great ones also retire because they can't don't any thing, they unlucky, can't offer a lot of $ for platinum, can't offer the cost and the time to get the RIGHT re-roll in maps like planar arena. and the same to get 1250 planar fragments to get 10 breeze eggs to sell them for 7.5m less than the price of 2 years ago arcane egg Samuel

exclusive me MR/ Developers of AL this is a MMO Game not a Casino. the game should be farmable game (play damn hard to obtain exclusive items) so every one on it have the chance to get it, and for the Rich people every thing is stays the same for them (if you can't loot it buy it with platinum) - or building it on the two ways farming and lottery ways. but farming MUST stay the better and the way you can get the most exclusive loots.

every one in the first season was playing hard to get malison egg the #1 loot in that time. the value of malison and such type loots ruined totally with the reroll platinum type eggs (mythic, arcane and event ones) without Alternative ones. the most expensive legndary eggs now is Shade-built on reroll- and shadowlurk-next week will be ruined with the spider reroll chests

. every thing here is made on how much you PAY for, not how much you WORK for. even when you got something to FARM like Planar maps (arena-tombs) you farm for those casino Items (reroll and been lucky) like the recipe and planar tombs chest.

as Example i wasn't planing to buy mythic set ever in level 26,31,36 because i can't offer the cost then. and at level 41 because it almost the same as the magma set which all i need to do to get it is to farm teeth. (farming type at last YAAAY) , what happen after that just couple of weeks every one knows that magma set and shadowlurk will be useless. sell it now, because of the event system (which is good i don't mind it) which is built on energy kits and opening event locked which will give you a totally better gears, weapons, eggs, everything for less the price, and time (which is the bad one, again and again the casino part of AL destroys the Farming part of it)

that my and every one advice to you (which you don't wanna hear from long time ago) save the farming, playing type of AL from the casino type. that the only way to get that game back to the top again, only way to be editor's choice again in the android play market as you was in the first season. only way to get back to the real top MMORPG of the year. take it or delete it

What is killing AL is lack of things worth farming. Or things worth farming, but extreme difficulty doing so for those less equipt players.
Lack of quests that actually go somewhere like the mythic upgrading did way back aka engaging players without repeating (wt4runs/tooth farms)
And having those arcane ringed, imbued wearing necko owners with a significant advantage. To the majority of players it's viewed as the 99% looking at the 1%.
And to those (upgrade my existing mythic). Stop. You got a lot of time from that mythic. More bang for your gold than anything else (exception pets) on this game. AND Achievement Points! Let it goooo
Personally, if think the issues are elsewhere, but their argument does hold water. It's just a difference of opinion, but neither side seems wrong.

at least give us yours estimated time,it's like waiting for dentist but nurse keep saying "wait please" without give any clue when the dentist gonna come. Waiting it self already boring thing and plus without estimated time that's really2 frustating,some of good friends already decide to leave this game bcoz of that thing. How's you guys feel if u all in our position?

In the world I work,there's no way we can ask our client to wait without giving definite time or at least our estimated time. Not trying to push u guys for rushing expansion to come and asking for definite time. But after wait this long we deserve to know yours estimated time about when expansion gonna come.

Yes in the real world we work, and we all have schedules. Last season's expansion date was given, and it wasn't met, MANY players made plans, rearranged their day, took the day off from work. MANY players were upset because the date wasn't met. I think this is a reason why the date or time isn't given at this moment. We do know it won't be this week, or next

EXACTLY. Name one thing that can be legitamately farmed consistently to some degree that's BETTER than gear from Locked crates? Excluding Recipe/And lol@fossil, I see nothing, that's the way it's been for over A YEAR! Some may say that Imbued is farmable, but, in all fairness, very very few people are going to loot a Planar chest and then open it and get a dark crystal piece. The lower-class/middle-class players have essentially 0 places to farm except old elites with drops worth 15-50k a piece, or waste all their gold in tombs/arena trying to make it big off of near nonexistent loot. With a new armor set replacing myths, this would give the middle class/lower-class players a chance to FARM for new BETTER armor either to sell or use and be more efficient at farming thus making even more money! So, with this in mind, do you really think we should be advocating to do a quest and keep the same thing for its 5/6th season of dominance? Or, should we, the players, be looking for better ways to make farming a legit way to make money for all player groups by making new farmable gear that's actually worth trying to loot??

i highly doubt these sets will be better than imbued..just a feeling..im guessing these will be like the magma armors..

most common endgamers cant afford imbued sets,so this armor would close the gap a little bit for those players who don't have access or funds for imbued..

i could be wrong but i just don't see sts completely trashing the imbued sets just yet..but if they do i'll count my losses and buy this set lol.

and for god sake people give it up with the upgrade the mythic sets..there old and outdated..it's time to move on,if you dropped 1m on a mythic set right before an expansion knowing the expansion brings new armor,i don't feel bad for you at all..that's just bad decisions and poor money management..

There definitely should be farmable gear. The flip side is there needs to be reasons for people who choose to spend money will spend. Plat should be a shortcut to a goal. There is no way around this. It's been stated by remiem before. It is the way of arcane legends. I would not spend any money if it didn't give me/potentially give me an advantage. I can make gold on reinforced gems alone. For farmable gear to be profitable, someone has to buy it. The game needs farmable gear and those that farm need rich players to make any type of gold. Both are important.
