    Default Complete Combo Guide

    Intro:

    With the advent of the new Mega Combos, I thought it would be helpful to have a more definitive list of all the different possible Skill and weapon combos that occur in game.

    Some of the combos were taken from Pharcyde's excellent Enchantress guide.
    For a look into the mechanics behind how combos work see: How Combos work


    Definitions:


    A Skill Combo is when two (or more) skills are used in a certain order.

    AOE= Area of Effect
    ST= Single Target

    AOE means area of effect and that the damage is not limited to the selected target but to any enemies within a certain area (range) of the target you have selected while attacking.

    A Weapon Combo is when a skill is used followed by a a weapon proc.
    What is a weapon proc? Some weapons have extra damage that can occur when they are used, in addition to the normal weapon damage.
    For example the Gem Shard wand does extra fire damage in addition to its normal damage. The extra fire damage is known as a "weapon proc".
    Some weapons actually have AOE weapon procs, such as the Gem Blast staff which has AOE fire damage.

    Combos give extra damage on top of the normal skill use. Mega class combos add the most extra damage.

    Combo strength comparison:
    single class combo damage < two-class combo damage < Mega (three-class) combos damage.


    Skill Combos

    Enchantress:
    Hot Flash! (AOE) = Ice Storm + Fire Storm (10-30% more fire damage)
    Hot Flash! (ST)= Frost Bite + Fire Storm (10-30% more fire damage)

    Warrior:
    Smash! (AOE)= Beckon + Stomp

    Archer:
    Cruel Blast! (AOE)= Shattering Scream + Blast Shot


    Mixed Class Combos:

    Archer + Enchantress
    Nature Strike! (AOE)= Thorn Wall + Lightning (10-50% more lightning damage)
    Nature Strike! (ST)= Thorn Root + Lightning (10-50% more lightning damage)


    Enchantress + Warrior
    Shattered! (AOE)= Ice Storm + Stomp (10-50% more stomp damage)
    Shattered! (ST)= Frost Bite + Stomp (10-50% more stomp damage)
    Terror! (AOE)= Weakness + Hell Scream (Debuff is 25% more effective)


    Archer + Warrior
    Terror! (AOE)= Shattering Scream + Hell Scream
    Crushed! (ST)= Break Armor + Crushing Blow

    Weapon Combos

    Enchantress:

    Ice Melt! = Ice Storm (Frost Bite) + random proc from a Fire Weapon
    Target will take take 10-50% extra weapon base damage

    Drained! = Weakness + plus random proc from Gemstone Wand- (any color and level)

    Super Freeze! = Random Freeze proc from Apep Sunkiller Staff of Thoth + Frost Bite + Ice Storm
    (Renders the enemy completely useless for 5 seconds, stuns the enemy from moving for 10 seconds. Hot Flash! damage is amplified when casted with Super Freeze!)

    Steam! = Ice Storm (Frost Bite) + fire proc from wand or staff


    Warrior:

    Execute! = Hell Scream/Super Mega Slash/Beckon/Stomp + random Proc from Shadow Hax/Vibra Longsword/Cyber Sword

    Also works if a Bird uses Avian Scream (Basically any stun type skill)
    Execute! = Avian Scream + random Proc from Shadow Hax/Vibra Longsword/Cyber Sword


    Enchantress + Warrior
    Terror! = Random proc from Dark Wand/Dark Staff + Hell Scream

    Misc other terms (From Pharcyde's guide with a few corrections)

    All Classes:

    Clear Headed! = Effects of stun wear off. Casting Blessings of Might and Blessing of Vitality cuts down stun time.

    Free! = Effects of Frost wear off. Casting Fire Storm or Heal can sometimes break Frost hold.

    Unrooted! = Effects of Thornwall and Thornroot wear off. Casting Fire Storm or Heal can sometimes break Root hold.

    Cured! = Effects of Debuffs wear off

    Mended! = Effects of weapon fatigue end. (Dark-bolt blaster or hammers stopping you from moving when hit).

    Absorbed! - Combinations or Critical hits are absorbed by Mana Shield, causing less damage.


    Enchantress Specific:

    Face Melt! = Random proc from Keeper Staff of the Cosmos

    Humiliate! = If you blast a barrel while a enemy is near it. The enemy will take large amounts of fire damage, lose all Buffs, is blasted back and temperately stunned.
    Your character will automatically cast the Laugh emote.

    Rejuvenate! = Requires only a Enchantress; Restore your Healthpool completely by either Drain Life or Heal while taking damage. Effects: Temporary Self Buff +1 H/S for 20 seconds.

    Fearless! = Heal any Nightmare/terror/weakness debuff

    Poisoning Blast! - Unverified on how to do it and effects.

    Mega Combos (for pics look here)

    HELL STORM! (AOE)
    Nature Strike! + Hell Scream = Hell Storm!

    First Bird- Thorn Wall (or Thorn Root)
    then Mage- Lightning ==> Nature Strike!
    then Bear- Hell Scream


    PULVERIZED! (ST)
    Shattered! + Break Armor = Pulverized!

    First Mage- Ice Storm (or Frost Bite)
    then Bear- Stomp ==> Shattered!
    then Bird- Break Armor


    PWNED! (ST) Combo below has been confirmed by devs- see here.
    Crushed! + Drain Life = Pwned!

    First Bird- Break Armor
    then Bear- Crushing Blow ==> Crushed!
    then Mage- Drain Life

    It is also possible to do the Pwned! combo without a bird if a bear or elf is using a spear which procs break armor. You should see little stars under the feet of the enemy when break armor procs.
    Special thanks to Whirlzap for the info on spears procing break armor.
    This still needs definitive confirmation.

    Presumably the single target versions should work as well.

    pwned probably needs more verification
    also, what's up with birds doing just about anything + blinding shot giving a combo animation? (discovered with pandamoni)

    Nice Guide, thanks for all your work.

    I don't think Bears have a self combo called Crushed. I've tested this numerous times and cannot replicate it. I'm fairly certain "Crushed" is a bird skill and bear skill combo, just haven't figured it out yet.

    You missed a few- terror (hellscream with a darkwand) and weakness hellscream with a dark staff.

    Oh yea I see problems... You describe crush as a bear only thing, but in the mega combo part you show it is a bird bear combo.

    It makes sense that it should be a Bird- Bear combo since in the patch announcement, asommers specifically mentions "Crushed+ Drain life" is one of the mega combos.

    The three mega combos are then:
    Nature Strike + Hellscream= Regular Bird-Mage combo followed by Bear skill
    Shatter + Break Armor= Regular Mage-Bear combo followed by Bird skill
    Crushed + Drain Life= Regular Bird-Bear combo followed by Mage skill

    We just need confirmation on what skills are needed to get the Crushed combo.

    Based on Krazii's post, it seems that it is not a bear only combo so I will correct it.

    It seems that blinding shot is buggged at the moment. See discussion here.

    Thanks, I added them. Does the wand/staff have to proc first and then it is followed by a hellscream or is it the reverse?

    Ok, if I understand correctly, to land the PULVERIZED mega in the heat of a fight, I need to spot the bear stomp and a Combo sign, then fire Break Armor. Do I have to wait 1 sec as with combos? How does bear-stomp look like or sound like, is it the roar with red ripples?

    I believe that you have to wait the normal half second or so between casts as with normal combos. The bear stomp is pretty obvious, you see the bear jump and land. The word "Shattered!" needs to appear above the targets name, for the combo to work. The Mega combos are really only useful against bosses, since most low level enemies die pretty quickly.

    Ask a bear to stomp in town. Hell, ask him to do his slashes, so you can see the difference :P
    As far as I know, you just have to follow the skill with your skill to set off the Mega.
    The previous skill has to have executed though, so you'll need to know the execution time for your own skill.
    Or in other words, practice.

    Does the super freeze really only work with an Apep Staff of Thoth? How about other staffs that have a freeze proc like the Alien Staff of Fate, or even the other flavors of Apep Staff?

    Question Debuffs Combo?

    Can someone help me on this.
    Weakness+HS= terror, will nightmare +HS works too?
    Is there any combo out of nightmare? Seems to me most mages in PL are using nightmare rather than weakness, which debuff is better?
    Which one should be maxed first? Or half points into each

    I assume any weapon that can proc freeze will work. I tried an Apep Sunkiller Staff of Horus, but it was not able to freeze anything, so it did not work. It's an ice based weapon but does not cast freeze as far as I can tell.

    Nightmare will not work, only weakness. Both debuffs are good and I use them right away when I confront a boss. Before GCD, I would use them on the regular mobs as well but not anymore. Most mobs die before I finish casting the debuffs so it is just better to nuke and heal instead.

    Overall, Nightmare is better because it benefits the whole group by debuffing armor (-30) and dodge (-12), so the entire group does more damage. Weakness just helps the person getting hit.
