Arcane Legends Seasonal Characters and the Seasonal AP Challenge Leaderboards

I have a question, what happens if a HC character makes it to top 10 overall and dies near the end of the season? Will his name still remain there and will he be able to get rewards? Because right now it looks like dead HC characters get to keep their spot on LB unless they get knocked off by other players.

Dead hardcore characters are not on hardcore or seasonal hardcore leaderboards. There was a bug with them still showing up which was fixed with today's update.

Rewards for the hardcore leaderboards are for living hardcore characters at the time the season rolls over.
