what if santa got so fat he couldn't make the trip anymore so he went to mt fang town, got bit by vlod and turned into a vampire and became the fat boss on the second floor?

On a serious note, I think drop rates are just fine. I started mt fang with 1.8 million gold, earned enough to buy both the crafted helm, xbow, longbow, and leather and have 2.4 million gold right now. You just have to grind and keep playing when the pinks start dropping (they seem to come in cycles). I've made about 2.3 million in the last month since I reached 66 and it was all mainly from 3 drops (2 orlok shields and a lilith wand). If you grind for an hour a day you can make tons of money.

Then no longer will vanities be expensive and rare (which is why people want them). It is hard to get good drops (pinks and vanities) to be rich in sl takes time I only have 80K which was hard to get

Check the Shoppe - razrs and novas are dropped in price 3 times! Which means more of these are looted

And look at the average capped BS mob - 70% of ppl are 'vanitied' and 30% have 2 or 3 vanities, including xrays and squids..

Some ppl has better luck or better nerves to run over and over, others - make threads like this..

No offence to anyone, but economy in SL looks healthy. More healthy than the world economy nowadays

The reason for this is because people are trying to sell their pink guns before the values drop in the next update. The drop rates are still horrible.

In answer to the original purpose, ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY! I'm of the mindset that pinks should require effort to get, but not be insane. Anyone who puts in the right amount of time and effort should be able to acquire the pinks they want.

Some say that the pinks should be SO rare that only a select few who are extremely dedicated to farming should be able to get them. I disagree with this mindset because of elixars which would make platinum spenders have an insane advantage, and because you shouldn't have to have an extremely rare set to be powerful. Skill is skill is skill. Luck shouldn't decide who gets more power. Does that make sense?
