AL has unfortunately run its course and i find it a shame players of one game are financing the development of another and getting rehashed content over and over. That's sad. Actually never ran with you, but you've probably influenced my playing style, build and overall game experience more than anyone else. I mean, the Tour of Arlor (epic!), the solo guides (only reason I decided to try solo Rendtail), all those rogue tips and info (I'm using explode on traps because of you lol) etc. etc. You'll be missed more than you think.

What about me, I have:
I play for rouge(41 lvl).
I have 560 dmg, 43 dodge, 27 crit and 1363 armor(without pet).
I have frost bow, 36 mystik armor and shlem, blood ruby and fang of fenrir.
But my my experience in elite map not as high as we would like.

Since 2015 started, I've been playing a lot less AL. The game has just gotten repetitive to me. I tried starting as a brand new character with a friend from irl, but it still was meh. With new expansion comes new system, which StS implement even before, but not with huge impact - Mobs with skills

In seasons before, there were only few mobs with skills (frost giants and spiders in Nordr; wolfs, mages and giants in shuyal and planar tombs; shamans and green orcs in tindrin) and to be honest, most common runs tactics count with parking/avoid these "strong mobs with skill which can kill us".

This new system is based on theory: "All mobs have some skills"

For succesfull and profitable runs we have to know our enemy, hope this article will help.

There are screenshots with my character and mob because of comparison of enemy size and for real look of enemy in zones.



Grunt and Armored Grunt

Grunt without armor can only autoattack, nothing special.
Armored Grunt can hit harder via red zone.


Crossbowman

Crossbowman has two skills: short red zone which get you dmg and push you a bit. Second is bomb, explosion will stun you.
Armored Grunt can hit hardr via red zone.


Shaman

Shaman can heal other. Difference from previous version (located in Tindrin areas) is, that his heal is instant and shaman can´t heal himself.
There are rumors that these shamans are girls. Who knows, however don´t call them Mr. just for sure..

Green Pigs will push you and stun. They have very low HP as well as Black Wolves.

Ogre Brute is that big guy with even bigger wooden hammer and with insane amount of HP. His speciality is to become stronger when you kill some other mob in his range.
And its not all. His skills are: Long red zone attack with strong dmg and stun. Immediately after Long red zone there will be Falling stones attack behind him (3 stones at the same time).
If you avoid Long red zone via run behind him, be careful on Falling stones.





You can see there are lots of mobs who can stun you (and all stun are area of effect!). Combination of pulls and stuns could be deadly even for high geared team. We will see in elites.

In clearly theoretical level, ideal combination of party should be:
Rogues - fast killing Shamans and Ogre Brutes
Mages - for crowd control
Warrior - for taunting and aiming red zones to proper directions and areas to secure that rogues and mages will not be pulled and stuned

I think this is the right guild for all what i read from the post that you posted(idk if it makes sense what i just said).Im a mage lvl 46 my stats are 623dmg 3,5 hp 1317 armor(i wanted to post a screen shot to make it easier but idk how), i have 11,5k ap and i have 50k pve kills(~48k). I ran all the elite maps on solo from the first one to nordr i also finished wilds and the last map on shuyal, also some ap from arena, arena tombs and more. How's everyone doing? We are entering October ( after some autumn cleaning), Halloween event upon us - prepare your twinks in Event runners as your mains in Elite Runners :-) Let's hope this event will be more farm friendly and will bring endless farm and more runs.
For a mean time, be sure to log in for dailies to receive max tags ( the old king never sleeps it seems, so free 6 tags daily), planar fragments for egg shells and such.
I know it's kinda boring times at elites with no big profit, but we still maintain fun runs at grotto, tombs and arena, ask for parties in guild chat and have fun as much as possible.

Important information for new recruits:
Our guild really requires that you actively participate in elite runs. We don't tolerate any form of begging or merching in the g chat because what we do are elite runs and of course also farming AL events and sometimes crate farming. We are definitely not the right guild for you if you spend most of your time in the city merching or if you need to achieve PvP APs quickly.

We have zero tolerance of drama and swearing in g chat (in fact in any chat) and we are going to boot any member that shows disrespect and immature behavior. If you are mad at someone, solve it in GH or in arena 1 vs 1 please :)

We have zero tolerance of begging. We will help you to do farming runs, but don't expect gifts or "loans". Although we have built a community of trust, always think twice before giving (lending) stuff to anybody. We can't guarantee for every member.

Personal note from Guild Master: Please don't beg for promotions. If you want to become a higher rank, invest your time into helping other members instead of asking when you can get promoted. Officer title is something that you may get after several months of hard work, but there is absolutely no guarantee.

Consider to join if:


You like to run elite maps
It is hard for you to find a party to run Elite maps
You enjoy the social aspect of the game and you like to communicate with other people
You are capped (currently level 46)
You have reasonable gear to run Elite maps (36 myth armor or 46 legendary is fine for most of the maps)
You are patient and know what to do in the game if you can't get a party right now (for some tips see page 12 of the original thread: Click here (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?94005-lt-Elite-Runners-gt-Recruiting-Members/page12) )
You speak at least basic English, although our members cover many languages, including, but not limited to, Spanish, Korean, Malay, Indonesian, Italian, French, Russian, Croatian, Czech…



We may not be the right guild for you if:

You want to join only because of some hard elite APs (don't expect us to do hard core Tindirin or Ren'gol runs with you on request within the first days after you join)
You don't like to listen to well-meant advices, particularly regarding your build and skill use
You want to join with one of your alts and hop between guilds. We value loyalty very much.
You like to farm easy maps like LMM, KM3 or Rooks' Nest over and over - no problem doing 5 runs, but don't expect us to grind the skeletons for hours with you – we combine farming and fun
You are low level and constantly ask for help to level up (most of us capped individually)
You are inactive in PvE and require party for PvP arena
You think that fancy gear makes you a better person
You use g chat for merching, boasting and other irrelevant outbursts
You like to bring drama to the g chat


Important notes:

Concerning plat/ankh spending:
This topic became increasingly important with the new elites, because the mobs hit very hard and boss runs are often deadly (gladiator's axe throw etc). For runs in Elite Ren'gol, Planar Tombs and sometimes also Arena platinum or ankhs are required. Please understand that it's frustrating for your party members when they are keeping boss alive, potentially dying and plat reviving only to wait if you make it back. Also, don't expect the party to die for you if you revive outside the battle arena during the 4th arena run.


Furthermore, we refrain from parking mobs anywhere besides maybe the big dudes in Planar Tomb 3.
Also, you should have some plats for re-specification if needed. We cannot do elite runs with you if you have PvP specification. For example, heal skills on mage or rogue is a no-no in elite.

Elite runners is not a one-man guild, and not even guild of officers. The guild is as the members are. We officers see our role in creating a healthy and friendly climate inside, but it is the members who are the core of the fun. Our original idea was to be pure training guild where the members would leave after some time or commit to become trainers. It is really not important if you are a member, recruiter or an officer. As you can see in our contest thread, we form parties regardless of your rank or gear.

We enjoy very low fluctuation of members. We do not like guild-hoppers and so please do not join us if you only need some hard-core elite APs. This will be quickly recognized and your calls for runs may be ignored. We put most of our efforts into loyal members. Also, although our presence in PvP is increasing, we are still primarily Elite guild. If you are a PvPer, you are likely to find a party for arena, however this is not a rule.

If you leave our guild, don't expect us to take you back easily. We usually give a second chance, but we are reluctant to give you the third or fourth chance. We invest lots of time and pots into every member.

PvP
Given that couple of good PvPers joined our guild recently, we are not ignoring PvP world anymore. We want to provide our members with additional fun and fair PvP clash.

Our PvP Code of Conduct in a nutshell:

1. No ganging. Really. Wait for the opposite party to regroup. Of course killing the last player in a fair 5 vs 5 battle is not considered ganging.
2. No trash talking. Remember that you represent Elite Runners in PvP and that any trash talk may be punished by booting you from the guild.
3. Respect every member in the pvp arena even if he is an opponent. Kill, but don't humiliate the enemy.
4. Wear the guild title all the time.
5. You may attack or get attacked by guild member if he is on enemy side. If you don't want to fight your guildie or your friend, LEAVE the session. Don't block the spot.
6. We are not paranoic about your KDR. Fight for fun.

Our current entry requirements for rogue are about 4200 HP, 750 damage and 50k pve kills.

Further passive damage doesn't really help and medic is not viable in elite at all. Once u fulfill the requirements we would be glad to help u with the build :)

Horn, WM, Jugg, and CS is a pretty standard set for elite mobs. SS can be used in place of CS for stun, but you give up a taunt skill.

I like carrying more than 4 skills so I often switch WM for Axe at bosses and sometimes Jugg for VB if the boss is weak. Also have SS unlocked for km3 and soloing

We are active mostly in high-end elites and so PvE kills is one of the most important statistics for us. I play tank relatively rarely but at 55 level I have 70k kills. You should be around this number, too. I'd say, 60k is minimum for a tank of level 53-54 (if I count your skill points well). Missing APs is not a big problem as long as you are at least Infamous (15.000 points) :)

I replaced SSS with Traps, dunno if good idea. I'm trying to plan ahead, thinking going support (light side). Maybe even add Veil. It all depends on how the new expansion unravels.

At level 46, my setup was pretty defensive and with experience as a tank, looks like I prolly end up light side. Especially if the gear is lootable within means :)

Wait, so the multiple bleeds are from pet/weapons and NOT stacking from multiple traps. That's not cool.

As disappointed as I am, it doesn't change the usefulness of traps...in particular the pull. I just thought the bleed stack was from having 2/3/4 traps, I didn't realize it was from a second and third proc source (pet and weapon).

My reasoning was to prepare ahead. The impression I get regarding the new expansion is that it's going to be deadly the deeper you go. Traps are pretty awesome when they pull but I believe that surviving the onslaught using razors dodge and nullifying stun and snare effects is a far better option. Swift pulls and then also upon contact freezes a particular mob, there's also as you know Bros Whim and that dodo bird Fritters. You might get annihilated using Fritters in mausoleum elites tho, with its weak stats and small AoE.

Timing Nekro AA along with Razor could be a stun/snare free run, but I intend to use SnS AA in a PT mostly, with Nekro as backup.

P.S I intend to join the light faction (defence/support) in the Arlorian Twilight expansion.

Only thing that "stacks" is some super small damage, practically insignificant. Traps were never fixed, sadly.

I agree that the damage from bleed isn't huge on it's own (per tick), but my attraction to traps is that the bleed effect impacts unlimited targets, unlike Nox, which has a cap on the maximum number of affected targets.

My original premise was that multiple traps, assuming of course stacking works as described, yields +/- 200 dmg per target per tick per trap. In densely populated maps, 200 dmg per tick per trap spread over 20+ mobs yields a tremendous amount of overall damage output. So, assuming stacking bleeds again, in conjunction with Nox DoT and Clock DoT the total damage output yield is impressive, when taken as a whole.

I will ask for some clarity on this issue....hopefully, we can find out more before the update.
