Is the lvl36 holoween mythics upgradable? Since its rare to get one on non lock chest. On last event not sure if anyone get a mythics on the chest. I dont mind spending 5k tokens or getting rare items to upgrade my nightmarish dagger.

The Necropolis Cursed Skull can be crafted and used to upgrade an item to add Mana and a chance to drain life from your enemies. Ouch!

I've had to make an adjustment to the Paracelsus Stone given some internal calculations. The idea and way it works are the same, however the base damage is now 2.0 instead of 1.5, to keep things playing nicely.

so from the examples stated before:

1 - 2 + 5.5 = 7.5
2 - 2+ 7.5 = 9.5
3 - 2 + 9.5 = 11.5

etc

This is across all gear, not per piece of gear. If you managed to slot everything you own (and give up all those stats?!?!) You would be looking at:

15 * 2 + 5.5, or 35.5

I think mathematically it doesn't balance out if you neglect your primary stat over these, and may end up having equal damage or less, I'm sure someone will figure it out ;)

Sorry for the changes, but I'm keeping everyone informed best as we can, as relevantly as we can within our means.

In regards to Paracelsus Stone and "critical" upgrades, there are none for this Gem. We felt that would be a bit ridiculous for players to receive this great gem, and then feel cheated because they didn't get a super version of it. In the interest of keeping everything on the level it's a flat 2.0 regardless, and it has no rare version that can proc during upgrading.

I do have a question regarding lockeds. Will there be locked crafting this time around for 2x weapon odds to help sink the mass amount in the market? Or are the Halloween mythic weapons only going to be in the pumpkin chests?

I am just curious as to how lockeds will be used during this event since there has yet to be a mention of them.

Well, that's how they intend for it to be working. I feel like sts hasn't made it working that way just yet (meaning, they likely have a buggy system in place at the moment)...

How is one existing item supposed to just all of a sudden gain or lose 5.5 damage when you equip another?
The stones should read as +2.0 damage in every slot for items. THEN, the character should also receive a bonus +5.5 damage in their base character stats, wehenever they have at least one stone in any of their equipment.

Necropolis Cursed Skull is the gem you want. increasing mana and a chance to drain life. I guess there will be necropolis essences to farm.

I have opened hundreds of the crafted elondrian chests and got only lesser value items. Many shared my experience... I would guess the crafted pumpkin chests would have similar payoff.
This means the bonesaw will be very rare (and very expensive) which I think acceptable since we just got lots of mythic weapons to use during the last event. But STG may just let us cratfed the locked crates for the weapons which I am mildly against.
If not many things are hidden from us, I think the free2players will enjoy most parts of the event with the exception of the leaderboard and maybe the platinum tier.

Yes, that's quite a valid point! Also, how many of each gem can you get per toon if more then 1? This gem really sounds like a mages gem, life steal and mana.... A warrior would want armor buff and HP and a Rogue would want Crit Buff and Dodge (Possibly HP or speed).

No they will still be scaled to lvl41 but you will have a higher chance to get them in locks.
This is just my speculation of what will happen. Hopefully I'm wrong.

The 2 new sets aren't half bad looking, either. The legendary bone armor gear looks pretty good so far, too.


As for the cursed skull...what if chance to drain life...was your life that gets drained?! It is cursed afterall.
The elon gem thing added life. Maybe these will add huge chunks of mana, but at the price of possibly hurting yourself on attack? Would be an interesting socket choice for low lvl twinks.

It appears you have hit the "sweet spot" with these. I did some calculations, and it does not pay to have more than 1 of these on a character as you would actually lose damage compared to having a grand gem in that second slot.

Leaderboard winners will get the arcane weapon of its class scaled to Level 60 so they have then arcane ring, SnS and the L60 weapon... so they dont even need to fight, just press 2 or 3 buttons to win clashs 1on5... lol ;)

Hello! Please dont make bosses too tough like "helena" from ursoths assault event. They should be tough but fair enough to kill by the players equipped with rare or epic gears. As most players tend to leave during the fight due to boss difficulty leaving behind the players who want to complete their daily boss kill and there is no other options left for them other than to abbandon that fight. As the energy points are limited and most players are not rich Enough in game to buy the energy tokens therefore depending on their energy recovery it would be better to set boss difficulty at some fair degree so that even poor players can gain gold tiers.

I think the point of just having vanities as a reward is not to stress people out with this leaderboard thing. We have way too much class and item imbalance now, it was a good call for STS not to throw in an item or pet that would further create a gap between haves and have-nots.

Why do you think is more convenient to run portals from twink and not engame? Because from twink you are able to pay 2-10m purchase the top gear and run faster than endgame.

Do you think a party of endgamers can run faster than any twinks party? Not all endgamers are holding arcane ring or a mythic weapon. Also we have amulets and rings from season 4.

Should i remember how people (twinks) ran portals during Ursoth and leveled up to get in lb ? They can do it again if they want.. Nobody cares.

Perhaps STS has learned from previous events after all. Imagine how many ties will be orchestrated by lb runners. I don't think they want to run players to death this time, thus the enticing yet totally unnecessary reward. This way maybe we could enjoy the content more, be able to help lesser-geared guildies and friends, rather than just run endless hours with the fixed fast parties.

In the standard leaderboard nonethical ways are discouraged by not awarding people with bound banners and thus can not be profitted from. It feels like event lbs are treated differently since its an event that generates income for the company on a different scale and rewards players with something of value. So what is the justification of not making both banner and vanity tradable. Most likely the event kits will be much more expensive and people who run the event will want some sort of rebate from the event by selling banner and keeping vanity or vice versa.

I've had to make an adjustment to the Paracelsus Stone given some internal calculations. The idea and way it works are the same, however the base damage is now 2.0 instead of 1.5, to keep things playing nicely.

so from the examples stated before:

1 - 2 + 5.5 = 7.5
2 - 2+ 7.5 = 9.5
3 - 2 + 9.5 = 11.5

etc

This is across all gear, not per piece of gear. If you managed to slot everything you own (and give up all those stats?!?!) You would be looking at:

15 * 2 + 5.5, or 35.5

I think mathematically it doesn't balance out if you neglect your primary stat over these, and may end up having equal damage or less, I'm sure someone will figure it out ;)

Sorry for the changes, but I'm keeping everyone informed best as we can, as relevantly as we can within our means.

It appears you have hit the "sweet spot" with these. I did some calculations, and it does not pay to have more than 1 of these on a character as you would actually lose damage compared to having a grand gem in that second slot.

Its not drama sir! Sometimes you guys tend to forget that this game is inter-racial. And so if they find it a bit offensive on there part, its there right to tell it. The sheet ghost looks may not be harmful or just traditional on where you from, but some places may find it with other meanings. Its traditional (on your traditions), but not on some places.

After reading this, please don't tell me to:
1. Then dont join the event.
2. or then don't play this game.
3. or just ignore it.

we all loved this game, thats why we do our best to make it more enjoyable without trampling with other's beliefs/rights/customs/traditions.

I cannot believe ANYONE would belittle people raising this as a problem. If there is even the slightest doubt that even one person might feel upset about this then that is to be taken seriously. Please don't be blind about this.

It isn't about questioning what the designer had in mind when they put this together. It is about the way people feel and what it brings to mind when they see it. When you look at an image you can't control what it brings to mind nor can you control the associated feelings.

No one is questioning the intent of STS... ghost costume is a really nice idea, a lot of work went into it I'm sure and like in my post above that idea can totally work with some minor adjustments, not necessarily mine but something similar.

To narrow it down - it is the shape of the head mask and the shape of the eyes, which are mainly causing the problematic link here.

It's a small issue so instead of fighting about whether or not people have the "right" to be upset, why not just provide some creative solutions and help to find a compromise :)

The Sorcerer leaderboard ghost vanity is missing it's particle effects from what Remiem showed. It is still work in progress.

I'm not forgetting anything, and was born and live in one of the most culturally and racially diverse cities in the world. I administrate multiple wordwide forums as part of my job, and have for the last 15 years, meaning I am not ignorant to beliefs, customs and tradtions.

A sheet ghost has been a cultural tradition worldwide wherever halloween is celebrated, for centuries, no matter what race, color or ethnicity. It was part of almost everyones childhood, and I find it sad that the costumes we wore as children are now being deemed offensive.

STS has announced they are working on the outfit, and it does not yet have it's graphic effects and final tweaks done. People have been requesting this vanity for the past 3 years, they listened to the customers, did what was asked of them and people rage anyways. The way STS works with particle effects, I doubt the static image is even close to the end effect it will have, which will assuredly be much more ghost-like.
