Actually if you've seen it happen, it's scary because on other MMOs/MMO forums, predators have been garnering attention of guys (aka young teenage boys) by posing as extremely attractive young women. I've even had to force a couple of close friends to stop talking to certain individuals because there was near undeniable proof that the individual wasn't who they really were. Which is primarily why I talk here on these picture threads. I'm this guy, so I do matter:

I understand your point. Truths eventually surface, but that approach of asking by the other individual was most likely not direct motive.

Well said!!! Yes that is a common occurence. This girl says she is 31 years old. She pm'd me and added me in game yet won't make a sign pic. Sociopaths! I've seen it all before, there is no limit as how far people will go for attention. Ppl telling her not to keep her word are either made up by her, or jealous. Not wanting her to make me a pic. Or trying to keep faith so that one day will be rewarded. you know gain favor, which is silly and fruitless.

This is a Role Playing game, and if using a fake pic is the role someone would like to play, then more power to them. Making someone prove they are who they posted is extremely creepy as that screams stalker. This is a game that children play, so meeting outside the game should be completely off the table. So if there is no reason you will ever meet this person, what does it matter what picture they post.

I just don't feel like I need to prove myself to any of you. I posted here like everyone else but now I know it was a huge mistake. I'm here to play the game and have fun like everyone else not to meet and date.. I have reallifes friends I play this game with and have met some really cool people here also. So damn the haters..

If I have a pic that proves that Kindread is as awesome and sexy a bird in real life as he is in game, can Kindread date ya? I promise in real life, Kindread keeps his beak really clean and has nice talons for a male bird. And when the armor comes off, you'll never have seen a black penguin birthday suit like this one before. :)

I do not need nor want a date. All I did was call bs. She is the one who came to me in pms and in game. Stalking please. Look at me do you really think i need to stalk someone, creepy? Go somewhere with that.
You are saying this is a childrens game? Do we look like children? Any of us... From what i've seen from pic posted is we are all at least 16, primarily over 18 though. You miss the point with your ignorant assumptions. No disrespect, but I did not speak to you first nor indirectly or even aim words like stalker or creepy to you. she was the one who wrote me in pms after I said I call bs on half the girls posting here, I'm not hating or bashing anyone specifically. I suggested a sign pic, saying I <3 PL , whuch,is harmless. I'm not asking for her number, a web cam date, personal pics, location or anything. Not even adding her myspace which she gave me to add. Get over it.

Meh. Just let people live the way they want. I personally don't condone people lying about themselves, but people have to do what they gotta do. (Not calling anybody here a liar).
