You counted that off EST, not CDT ;) just saying

Hey guys, it's 8:20 AM here in the office on Monday. I'll keep you posted in this thread as to whether we're pushing the new 1.1 client today or not.

You sure about that? ;)
Ps:
CDT= Central Daylight Time
EST= Eastern Standard Time
Thanks Sam... we're excited. I'm curious will this just be the new client or will the mini event also happen at the same time and new crate items aka the new mythics all come together?
A bunch of people told me it would all be a the same time but I don't see why that would be a requirement. I mean you could release the new client first and then content later correct?
Just want to plan ahead brother :^} Either way we'll be on and playing.
Central Standard Time = -6
Central Daylight Time = -5
Eastern Standard Time = -5
Eastern Daylight Time = -4
So yes, Eastern Standard Time does Equal Central Daylight Time ;)
ps.
wow, off topic and completely irrelevant, but a good way to waste time WAITING!!! ;)
Actually, as Sam said it was 8:20 when he made his post. I am in Florida (EST) and it is displayed as 9:29

I also know my clocks go back an hour when I go out to a friends place in Jefferson county (pan handle of Florida). I can 100% tell you that STS is not working under EST or a time zone equivalent to it since they are in Texas.
Ps: check this site which converts CDT to EST. EST is one hour ahead.

And another fun fact... we here in Arizona are on MST but... we don't do daylight savings time so our time difference varies with the rest of u peeps o.O! So sometimes I'm 2 hours off STS time like now... or 1 hour off STS when not in DST.:disillusionment:
Oh and once again Props Sam for update!
Well, we clearly have derailed, but it is better to have fun distracting ourselves with Daylight Savings time then badger the dev's who are working so I will keep this going. Currently it is NOT EST anywhere. We here on the East Coast are on EDT, Eastern Daylight Time, which is GMT - 4. If we WERE on EST, we would be GMT -5. CDT is GMT -5. Basically Daylight Savings Time causes all timezones to shift 1 hour East, so daylight savings time for Central causes it to have the same time that Eastern has in Standard time.
Or, easier, from that website you showed, if you bothered to read:

Converting CDT to EST
CDT stands for Central Daylight Time. EST is known as Eastern Standard Time. EST is 0 hours ahead of CDT. So, when it is 11:00 am CDT it will be 11:00 AM EST
WARNING: EST not in effect at this time. It's EDT instead. This is automatically reflected in the converter above by graying out inactive time zone of the pair.
The anticipation is killing me x.x
