Thanks Sam... we're excited. I'm curious will this just be the new client or will the mini event also happen at the same time and new crate items aka the new mythics all come together?

A bunch of people told me it would all be a the same time but I don't see why that would be a requirement. I mean you could release the new client first and then content later correct?

Just want to plan ahead brother :^} Either way we'll be on and playing.

Actually, as Sam said it was 8:20 when he made his post. I am in Florida (EST) and it is displayed as 9:29



I also know my clocks go back an hour when I go out to a friends place in Jefferson county (pan handle of Florida). I can 100% tell you that STS is not working under EST or a time zone equivalent to it since they are in Texas.

Ps: check this site which converts CDT to EST. EST is one hour ahead.

And another fun fact... we here in Arizona are on MST but... we don't do daylight savings time so our time difference varies with the rest of u peeps o.O! So sometimes I'm 2 hours off STS time like now... or 1 hour off STS when not in DST.

Hey everyone,

I've had a couple Private Messages and seen some forum posts asking "What's going on in Arcane Legends this weekend? Any special events?"

This weekend is just business as usual. The team has been focused on getting the new 1.1 client, Goblin Event and Ursoth's Assault Events ready to go. Look for the 1.1 client to go live next week as early as June 2nd.

Basically Daylight Savings Time causes all timezones to shift 1 hour East, so daylight savings time for Central causes it to have the same time that Eastern has in Standard time.

As for the delay in the new client, it is my understanding that STS has finished the client and is now waiting for Apple's approval before it can be added to the App Store. They cannot release the Android client until the Apple client is also out as that would result in half of the players playing one version of the game while the other half play a different version. So as soon as Apple has approved the client, it will go live. It sounds like that will happen in the next few days.

Does this mean the Android client is already ready to go and we are just waiting for the Apple client? I wonder how this will also affect Chrome users. Are they still required to run AL on the older Chrome version?

It's an instant update for Chrome as well. They just have to download the new APK I believe.

correct... android will show that a program has an update ready in the play store. Then new apk will be pushed down and executed. I'm sure Sam is just waiting to pull the trigger and it'll show in play store and in iTunes simultaneously almost.
