Check out my blog. Star legends is having some guild wars going on!!! Elite Droids and Project Twink are fighting. We want the puclic to comment on this. The debate is on Droids or Twinks. Which is best for star legends. A Droid/Twink is a somewhat low level player designed for player vs. player fighting. Which name should star legends players use. Droid or Twink. I think that Droids shoud be in star legends legends and Twinks in pocket legends, but what do you thnk. We need your input!!! View my blog and comment with your take on the subject. Twink has nothing to do with PL specifically. It's a term used in alot of MMO's. I personally think this droid talk is silly, personal opinion though. I have a ton of "twinks" in SL and I would dislike people calling them droids, since a droid is already a name for a human-like robot. I think the name droid is misleading, and has no relevance to twinking. Speaking of twinking, what are u gonna call the act of PvPing on your "droid"? Droiding? Sounds just silly.

I see what you mean. But would'nt this advertise/represent the android market. Naming this after them would show our appreciation for them. I think they would appreciate it.

I indeed use an Android but I think what you're attempting to do will alienate iOS users. There's already Android advertisement/representation in the game in the form of the the Android mascot, the little green guy. That's another reason I'm against it, there's already droids in SL, and they're quite established.

Twink is a sustained term i guess, so why to change it? Moreover, if u read SL lore at wiki, u'll find out that 'droids' are operatives in this game. They r not human beings - rather a cybernetic creatures.. So.. This fight is kinda empty

Once again, there is ALREADY droids in SL. I get what you're trying to do Zolum, and it's cool, but can't you think of something not already in game? Sigh eb I decided to give up on this kid , he has a majour obsession and the best we can do is ignore , he comes up with the weirdest ideas. He fails to understand that twink is universal term given to every mmo that has pvp, furthermore he believes that it's all about android as they got to play SL first.

If there's a "guild war" going on, well Elite Droids must be the only one participating in it. Why is that you ask? Well lets see. I have an alt in PT and i asked you to pvp me. When i entered the zone (1v1 map) you where right next to spawn and you rushed me. Yet i killed you didn't i? Hmm weird i thought it would be a 'fair' fight or something.

Drop the guild war idea, its getting you nowhere. PT is obviously not in it.


You're Droid idea isn't really catching on either now is it? Ever wonder why?

I say call them what you want....twinks or droids is it really worth fighting over?

This reminds me of Romeo and Juliet feuding families lol. Have fun play the game and don't stress over the names. we all come here for fun anyways right?

Or you could have a tournament twinks vs droids fair fighting no rushing and winner gets have the official name .

Only problem some people have twinks with twink in the name so if droids win would have to do name change or make new toon.

Or you could let droids be your own special thing. Then it would be exclusive to your guild . Your own special club

I just dont think its worth headache. We all are entitled to our ideas and opinions and not everyone is going to agree with everything you think. Thats what makes each and every one of us special and thats what makes the world an interesting place.

Twink has gone through the years of WoW and other MMOs, i guess veteran WOW players brought it to us :)

Based on what I'm seeing the people who don't like being called twinks in SL decide to change the name to "droid" plain and simple with a sci-fi feel to it, but a few other twinks protest saying that twinks are twinks and always will be. Am I reading this right?

Lets begin.From what i can see you seem to view twinks as an entire entity and not just a name ( first sign that you are indeed a child). Integrity , do you even know what means? Ardon and myself had been planning on making a twink guild for some time.Since end game got boring we decided to focus more on twinking as a means of enjoyment as we both fancied pvp so why not try something new correct ?

Copying ingame advertisements ? ( second sign ) You mean to say just because you advertise you guild it means that we cannot, while almost every guild has done this at least once ?

This is the point which annoyed me the most , You claim that we copy builds? Sorry to burst your bubble bud but we all have different builds and different play styles. We have also spent a lot of plat figuring out builds to suit our play style and you have the audacity to claim that we share builds ? Just because you cant beat some one ,don't have the arrogance to come up with an excuse, instead figure out how they play and what they do differently that made you lose.This is how you excel at pvp.
We aren't afraid to FFA but 99% of the time the teams arnt balanced so what do you do ? you have organised 1v1 matches where both players say "GO"

In conclusion all what you have said is utter garbage and im quite frankly surprised you made such a big deal of a dispute that we weren't aware of. Got kick of the ctf game in the end for not replying anymore. First time getting kick for not joining a guild in sl or pl. Lol.

My friends also were harassed and kicked out of games.
We are not in one of the guilds named in here btw. So not taking side, we pretty much dont care but we all feel which side is just better and grow up.
Now I understand why they were insisting to recruit me and my friends.
