    Default L56 Glyph Mage Guide

    L56 Glyph Mage Guide

    Introduction.

    Level 56 glyph enchantresses are one of strongest at 51-56 levels PvP. If you got glyph gear, it doesn't mean you can kill anyone at this level PvP, without good advice, tactics and build you won't be quite good, so i decided to make guide about glyph enchantresses, to help other players who got sets like that get better.

    What gear to choose?

    There are some good glyph sets for Enchantress.

    L56 Glyph Charmin/Nuri Wand sets (Note: Only Сharmin' items make set)

    To be honest i didn't find any minuses in this set, since I'm full Charmin enchantress and also was enchantress with Nuri stuff at first, its truly amazing set. I think you will only have problems with bears, like a lot of people have, since Big Top bears are overpowered at this level. It's the best set for 56 enchantress in my opinion.

    L56 Glyph Auto-Crossbow Obedience/Mimicry sets (Note: Only Obedience items make set)

    This set deal a lot of damage, but you will die faster because of low armor. Also you have to kite a lot.

    Pluses:
    • A lot of damage;
    • Easily kills birds and ppl with Str sets.

    Minuses:
    • Low armor;
    • Low mana pool.

    L56 Strongman/Of the Big Top mace sets (Note: Only Strongman items make set)

    Awesome set for a pally.

    Pluses:
    • High armor, dodge
    • Good in CTF;
    • Good Vs. Birds.

    Minuses:
    • Almost useless Vs. big top/strongman bears;
    • Low mana pool.

    Builds, stats of sets, rings.

    I'm Charmin mage, so ill tell you info about Int mages only, since i never was pally/Dex mage at this level.

    Charmin wand mage looks like that: (Mage with nuri items looks the same but without purple smoke)

    First lets see what stats have Nuri and Charmin sets and bonuses. Unfortunately, Nuri items not granting set bonus, but Charmin items do.

    ______

    Set bonus of charmin wand set: 2% Hit, 4% Dodge, 6 H/s, 10 Mana, 2 Damage, 6 armor

    Are these new Nuri sets like Prestidigitator or Merrymaker sets good in PvP? - Answer is no. Only if you use Nuri set, prestidigitator rabbit would be awesome as addiction to these items, since it got more armor than Nuri bracer. With rabbit shield you will have 10 more armor than with Nuri Glyph bracer.

    Now lets talk about skill build. My skill build and skill mapping looks like that:

    Frostbite - 6, Lightning - 6, Heal - 6, Resurrect - 1, Fire Storm - 6, Drain life - 6, Weakness - 3, Nightmare - 5, Magic shield - 4, Blessing of Vitality and Blessing of Might - 6.

    Range of skills at these levels:

    • Resurrect [AoE] - 12m area
    • Heal [AoE] - 8m area
    • Frostbite - 12m range
    • Fire Storm [AoE] - 12m range
    • Lightning [AoE] - 8m area
    • Drain life - 12m range
    • Weakness [AoE] - 8m area
    • Nightmare [AoE] - 8m area

    Stats builds.

    For Charmin enchantress pure Int awesome. Also you could use 67 Dex build. Why 67? Because with 67 Dex in your build you will increase your armor and damage + you can equip Level 20 Dex rings which also increase Damage and Hit/Critical Hit/Dodge%.

    For Nuri glyph enchantress i would prefer dual spec - 50% Dex and 50% Int, just because it works better for enchantress with this kind of items.

    Stats comparison. *

    __Pure Int: ________________ 67 Dex: _____________ _Half Dex (50%/50%):

    ______ ______

    * - used Charmin' wand set.

    As you can see, as pure Int you Have more mana, M/s and Armor, but as Dex you have more Dodge, Damage, Hit and Critical Hit %.

    For pure Int Better to use ring like Level 20 Acrobat's Fine Silver band (2% Dodge, 20 mana, 4 armor) - same ring i used when showed stats comparison.
    For Dex builds - Level 20 Acrobats Fine Platinum Band (2% Dodge, 10 Damage).

    You can also use another rings, just look this thread and choose which one will works good for you! Click

    Also, you could increase your armor by wearing vanities which increase it, even if they add +1 armor, 1 is better than nothing.

    Advice: If you are half Dex, and have Nuri items, you could use Melodic crossbow Vs. birds and Str gear, it works very well. Staff is very awesome Vs. Str gear too.

    Combos and tactics.

    As for combos, I'm sure decent players already know them, main combo which you will use looks like that

    Drain Life - Frostbite - Lightning - Fire

    If you do all right, it will show "COMBO!" which called "Hot-Flash", this combo deal extra fire damage.
    This combo is universal, works awesome Vs. birds, paladins, bears (sewer gear). You can easily nuke them without using debuffs - works like always.
    As for fighting bears using big top - you must use debuffs, without it I'm sure you will not kill bear.

    You can also do 'Drained!' combo, for this combo you will need to put more points at weakness (must be level 6). Works with wands only.

    If you fighting most hardest enemy of enchantress at this level - bear with big top gear, try to start with fire - frostbite, use combo and debuffs. At most fights when bears using big top gears can pull you and kill with two skills, so if you get pulled turn on shield at the right moment. Also heal when they use hell scream.

    If you are fighting enchantress and he's trying to use late shield, you can try nuke him with - Frostbite - Drain Life - Fire, but you must know your range very well. If you both have shield on use this combo Drain Life - Frostbite - Lightning - Fire - Debuffs - And repeat. You could also try to use late shield, but its very risky.

    Birds are most easy opponents for glyph enchantresses, you can even kill them without using a shield, unless your opponent using Forgotten bow. Same combo as i wrote would work awesome.

    Only decent kiter can play good with bow. If you fighting Int enchantresses with using bow or Obedience/Mimicry set, you have to know your distance very good, and must know when to turn on shield to not get nuked. If your opponent trying to use late shield, you could fast turn on your shield and nuke him with Frostbite - Drain life - Fire Storm. Just keep your distance and kite more.

    Now lets talk about the range. Without knowing your range good you will not kill every single player at PvP, so if you have problems with it you could take a look at this awesome guide Click.

    Thats all. If you find any mistakes, let me know. I truly hope this guide will help to someone. Thanks for reading
    Good luck in PvP!

    Very informative, but quite a few grammatical errors. An all around good guide but if you want it perfect, weed through the errors.

    You wrote 6 weakness 3 nightmare but the picture says the opposite. The written way is better IMO, w weakness at 6.

    Default L56 Glyph Mage Guide

    Just because I tested some builds and this one work pretty good.
    Since nightmare debuffs Armor and dodge, its awesome to use vs opponents like Big Top bears and glyph paladins.
    For example opponents like birds, mages with sewer gear you can kill even without using these buffs.
    And its 5 nightmare not 6 :P
