Well I bought 50 extra invetory space and I got 250 in total now. Is it 50 intotal? Or 50 per item section?

And I was only charge 5 plat.

Must be because your character was made before when the limit was 250.

All characters used to get 250 slots to start. During the 35 cap, they started selling slots, and reduced the starting number to 50 (around the time of the server merge), but all existing characters got to keep their 250. So you got lucky
