Armor Nerf in today's update

Ok this is not right, bears were terribly nerfed already to the point where any class basically can beat them in pvp, and I am fully decked and have long time pvp experience, but now its nerfed even more? This is really a lot to take in... Dev's need to get somebody who can watch the game carefully in pvp because that is what will determine how classes will be balanced... and then make updates according to that, because if you balance pvp, you balance pve, since the classes will be on a equal playing ground, provided the bosses are scaled up or down accordingly...

Yeah fate gives +4 now compared to Cosmos. With full Cosmos on, with laser wand and gurgox eye, I had 86 armor. Now Haikus has 74 .

Either this is just a glitch, a work in progress or they are completely changing the game to Pocket Socialists, at which point all high level farming will cease.

Oh, good, because mages have it too easy right now. It's not like mages in the best gear in the game still have less armor than a level 35 bear. Oh wait...

Ok it's like an accident on the side of the road... I just had to take a look.

Metallic now has +4 armor over Cosmos. WTF???? These item changes always screw over the people who have worked hard for their "epic" loot, and making these changes without even mentioning them seems sneaky and underhanded. I'm sorry, but these uneven equipment changes are just lousy and unfair.

Oniy reason I got cosmos was for that extra boost since I'm dual specced and it's look. Now it has less armor then common, crappy lvl 50 pinks. I'm guessing it's a mistake because if not. Is it even consired "l337" gear anymore?

They said they were going to be dropping the armor amounts on gear to make room for new items. But I don't get why they are dropping them again and also way before the new items are even out...

I am seriously mad because of this update, I was able to swallow down the last two combat "rebalances" but this is too much, Dev's are literally taking the game's economy and gear into their own hands and changing it to their will. Honestly in my opinion, looking back at 1.4, 1.4 looks more balanced then ever...

they didnt post in the update because they dont want the same thread to happen like the first nerf update.... where the community all took up arms and complained....

Thank God I finished the last of my quests last night (yes I live in your future) so I am officially done with everything in PL.... all I have to do now is sell my pinks and purples and taking it easy... feel sory for the guys that still need to finish quests and level up as this nerf will make it 10X harder....

Agreed. They WERE and still are taking a step in the right direction but seriously? The class with the lowest armor has there armor lowered on the BEST gear for a lvl 50 int character. Cmon! Get real.

Just omg pathetic. Looks like rift/cosmos and void are the new ~vanity~ items. Wish I woulda known so i coulda just spent 20 plat on em instead of all that time farming. Thanks PL, Thanks!
