I use an android phone, and if you look on the web to take a screen shot with an android, you'll see that you have to use the android sdk and computer.
I wonder if you can also capture video doing the same thing. If you use an apple device I would have no idea.
apple ipod/iphone can capture video if it is jailbroken. The quality is crap and its not very smooth though. Ipad users don't need to jailbreak and the video is good and smooth.Originally Posted by natetk

Ipad has a application they can get that allows them to record video on the screen itself.
Ipod/Iphone doesn't, but this application becomes available when jailbroken.

Rooted android while playing hooked up to pc can record in the sdk.
