    Default Blackstar FAQ ( What we know as we find out )

    1) Will my account information from Pocket Legends carry over to Blackstar?

    Yes, your account information as well as platinum count will carry over. It was also stated that they are working on a system that will reserve our usernames across all of their games.

    2) With Blackstar coming, will Pocket Legends take a hit?

    No, Pocket Legends will continue to grow as they added more people to the team.

    3) What are the names of playable classes?

    Operative, Commando, and Engineer have been announced so far.

    4) Will the entire game be available at launch? Space and ground combat and exploration?

    No, the game will have the ground stuff in to start, and while the space stuff would be nice to have, there are no guarantees that it will get added.

    5) Will the game be available for both Android and iOS?

    Yes!

    6) Where else can I go to read about the game?

    Their official site and their Facebook page.

    7) When is the game expected to release?

    Q2 of 2011.

    8) What features are going to be in the game?

    9) Will the game continue the current pay model of Pocket Legends?

    Yep!

    10) What will the level cap be?

    The level cap will start at 25, which is the same level that Pocket Legends was initially capped at.

    11) Will there be a global cooldown?

    Yes, there will be a global cooldown;

    Blackstar will definitely have a global cool-down. It will probably have other skill-class cool-downs as well. Like all of your "Holographic" stuff may have a cool-down and all of your "Amp-Light" will have its own, etc. We did a build of Blackstar where the DPS character (called the "Operative") could use a target debuff to get different combo results with three different classes of weapon. It was very compelling - totally different from PL in a great way
    Are there any snippets about the story?

    Yes! And here it is from their Facebook page;

    The doors of the UCS Blackstar will soon open to human and ‘mode’ privateers who have come to make their fortunes and fame, perhaps at the expense of their very lives! Rumors abound that the residents of UCS Blackstar have discovered an alien presence on a nearby colony. Seeing an opportunity to turn a quick profit, countless privateers leap into action to carve out their fate among the stars... where humans struggle to survive against advanced alien swarms, the depths of space, and each other!

    -This time around, users will find themselves in the 41st century, in the midst of a battle between the "the ruthless Scorn, a race endowed with arcane powers granted by alien gods; the Riven, necro-cyborg beings allied with the Scorn; the futuristic humans of the United Colonies Defense Force, and their robotic allies known as the Mode."

    -Take a dip in the star ocean

    The game begins after humanity discovers fast gate technology that enables travel throughout the galaxy. At first, there are no encounters with strange alien races or hostile foes; instead, much of interstellar travel is uneventful as humanity colonises the Milky Way.

    Yet, the uncovering of unhatched eggs in a remote planet triggers a series of deadly events that results in the birthing of aggressive reptilian aliens. Naturally, it's your job to clean the mess.

    - It starts with the discovery of "fastgates", portals that open up the universe to exploration. Corporations are quick to jump into the fastgates, mining asteroid belts for resources and making the common mistake of bringing alien egg-pods onboard for study. In the short instance we played, we entered the interior of an asteroid base that was overrun with aliens. Like in Pocket Legends, we encountered smaller creatures before fighting a large, bug-like boss. When we died, we had to respawn from the beginning of the level, but if you have a healer in your party, you can be revived on the spot.
