PvP participation is pretty bad overall in PL. If your goal is toget more people into it then you should randomize the teams and go more mainstream with the invitation. Otherwise, it will be the same old people fighting one another.

The energy you guys have here is encouraging. The big question is all the energy you'll be spending to essentially give 1.5M (500K each) to a group of level 56's who are well-geared and have nothing left to do ingame but PvP (and likely don't even need the gold). Is this worth all the work and effort you're putting in?

A PUG group of level 50-55's has as much chance of winning this prize as the state lottery when you're up against max level, end-game geared players with experience. Net result will be equal or less interest in PvP among the community since people won't have fun getting their butts kicked (unless they're up against another PUG). I've seen it before in other MMORPG's and interest for PvP in this game can't get much worse. I would think and hope you'd want to generate more interest in PvP with this contest since the PvP map & gaming options are so limited right now.
