I like the idea of variety but 5 is good number also (as found in other games). Changes could present different challenges... yes.

Larger humun squads would be good, often we find our weapons letting lose a few extra blasts after we have rapidly exterminated your entire team, its seems a waste in a way. Better if you could have an extra large handed human (I believe they are ungineers) to absorb those shots. More efficient in my mind L0L0L0L
