Try the latin names of flowers or trees for an elf, bear characters from fiction are all taken, but I found some bear divinities available, and birds can have latin names, too. There are plenty of birds out there, just check the field guides.
Try thinking of your own, its better to be original. But its ok to ask what we think of the name!
