Jewel Elixirs Return This Week & Important Updates to Jewel Locations!

Back in November, we released a brand new item: Jewel Elixirs. These magical draughts can be consumed to temporarily grant you the chance to magically coalesce a jewel type of your choice from damage dealt to a PvE enemy. Keep an eye out for an announcement tomorrow with the full details.

On top of that, we've added some changes that will make some of your most sought after jewels more accessible:

+ Chaos jewels now have the chance to drop in Normal and Elite Tindirin.
+ Tindirin maps no longer drop Water or Nature jewels.
+ Shuyal Normal and Elite maps now have the chance to drop Mind, Fury and Finesse jewels.

These changes are the precursor to a new 9th tier of jewel quality coming with the next expansion. More on that to come!

Game Updates

Arcane Staff Update

Based on further analysis of the Arcane Staff, we've made the following adjustments that will go into effect Thursday 2/25.

+ There can now be more than one Consecrate up at a time on a map--the effects do NOT stack.
+ The AOE range of Consecrate has been increased slightly.

We are continuing to monitor your feedback on this and the other Arcane Weapons. Thanks, as always, for making your voices heard and helping us to improve the game.

If you could take a look at the duel arena that would great because it lags too much. It doesn't allow me to use my skill or it freezes. My game doesn't lag anywhere else let it be a PvE or PvP map, but as soon I enter a Duel my game starts lagging really bad and I'm not the only one that has this problem.

I too would also like to know if gems will scale! I think they should as its only fair to players who have spent millions collecting them up!

I am very disappointed with the current status of staff buff. Only issue addressed was the fact that 2 spells can't be active at once. No skill damage increase, no addressing the fact that the staff gives 1 less stat than sword or daggers, charge time, nothing. Disheartening.

Is it just me, or Jerita is wearing a new armor? Never seen that armor before.

Staff buff is useless. Damage reduction is the coolest feature of consecrate but useless. Most times you either have nekro shield or Mage shield up and it does nothing. Make consecrate stack with other shields for the caster. Would go a long way to balance out duels for mages and also great for clashes. This buff would make many a Mage very happy. I'd prefer that over skill damage. Over everything. Would make it a much better all around weapon. Sacrifice skill damage for survival. Makes perfect sense. I've offered many times on other threads. Please come and play some games with us. I can show you better than I can tell you. Cmon.

Tindrin maps are always be my best spot to farm jewels, specially Wild map

Regarding the arcane staff. Why does it use mana when you charge it? I thought only skills use mana?

The plan of releasing a new tier of jewel is appreciated but please make sure that the current best gems (event gems) are not socketable on the new gear next cap.
