Actually, the reason they changed it was because people (including me) thought that it looked more like a "metal detector" rather than a.... Zombie-alien-baby-thing.
I think they should change the name to "Shield Baby"... but now it looks kinda like Benjamin Button.
It looks awesome. I can actually see the thing now.

I'm not saying I don't like how it looks. I just think it looks like a tiny, petrified, octogenarian.
