Huge Ping on Chrome for SL

Im going into Blackstar and the ping just went to 100k. waited for about 20 mins but got bored and reloaded the page, still huge ping. Anysolutions??

ESET NOD32 Antivirus software can cause very high pings, in the 3000 range.

What antivirus software are you using? There's a known problem with ESET NOD32 antivirus when it's configured for http/https checking which causes horrible lag.

well i havent really got any antivirus on, im still not sure though

aargh, i have reloaded bout 10 times already, still when i go to talk to someone, the ping goes up and up. i cant see my message because of the ping
