Costomizable badge or shield for guild

Can u make guild badges that go on peoples shoulders like the starguird ones but can u make it so the guild masters can put a symbol or pic to match the guild name or can u make a costomizable vanity sheild that has rank and symbol. This badge or shield would help people know what guild your in so u dont have to click on that person to find out. Also it would be for guild style. Can u make the badge or sheild acually shield u so it is more than just a accessory. This is Spittfire( lvl 33 commando), my guild is <The Avengerss>.

i like that idea of the shield. i recomend making the shield or badge a vanity so that u dont have to make a new one per level cap. i would also recommend that it should cost extra plat for the guild to have the shield so that people dont go crazy on collecting those shields and or patches. so in other words, it should cost plat for the guild that wants it and for the players that want the shield as well.

How about, you recieve this when you join, but if you leave (quit etc) the guild in question, it is removed from your inventory, this way players do not go around collecting or abusing or making a mess and joke out of the Guilds for the vanity. (what ever reasons they were created for)

Thats an epic idea. A vanity badge or shield that guild master can design with different ones for each rank nrilliant i hope that they read this and think its a good idea to.

its one graphic but then everyone in the game will have to keep downloading updates every time some GM thinks of a new badge design for every guild that does it haha... maybe like choose from a list of 20 symbols?

It's been suggested many times before, and I feel the reason it hasn't been introduced is because there's hundreds of guilds...with new guilds popping up every day. As there is no minimum amount of people required to start a guild, one can just make a new guild for a new vanity item. Would just be confusing and probably cause more lag than it's worth with all these custom items on everyone's arms. The guild names under your names are enough as it is, don't need anything else really. I only see countless issues and threads complaining about "more colors for badges!!! or "more designs for badges!!!" or "This guild copied our idea!!!" or "I don't like our guilds badge I want to customize my own!!!" etc etc.

I'm not sure how the whole system works but I'm always keen on some sort of customization. The choice gear and appearance is always so narrow, I'm all for a bit of individuality between players.

no doubt itll cost a heap of plat if it does get implemented

Well yeah you could choose from symbols...but they could only have so many - leading to "This guild copied our symbol" threads. It's a fun idea that if it ever happened wouldn't be implemented for months once the bigger pictures are already painted and displayed.

You have to admit this game lacks customization as it currently is, alot of players would appreciate just that little bit of uniqueness.

Exactly what I was trying to say, lol. I agree that SL lacks that sense of customization. A 3 letter acronym on a shoulder or shield, while a very simple idea, would still be fantastic if implemented.
