Ok hi devs and I was just wondering if you have a date yet for the new content release I have been hearing it's the 14th (Wednesday tomorrow) but some people are saying it's not plz can you if you have post a date when new content is planned for release.

Do not post topics with Dear Dev in the topic or Dev (Learned from experience) as far as a release date they never tell us. Only around about times and dates

devs don't appreciate being called out like that, they have stated it in numerous threads already. don't be shocked when they change your thread title

Well to answer your question. 12.14.11 is a rumor.
Someone had misread 11.14.11 as 12.14.11. I guess they were overexcited and then spread around 12.14.11.
If it comes tomorrow it'll be coincidence that it happens on 12.14.11.
Since the devs don't give a date on updated. They give a timeframe of when it could be released, so they aren't pressured by a final date.

In response to inquiries about when the update will be and if we could get some notice (so we know if we have time to cap) check this quote and thread.
i said this somewhere else today but my mind is scattered so i forgot where. i'm sure devs won't mind since it was an accident and you weren't nasty (i've seen people call out devs and curse even). you will probably still have your thread renamed though, lol. now you know for the future ;-)

I would like the dunce cap idea to come into effect for anyone that posts a thread asking when the new update will be out. Seriously people. There are like 10+ threads with the exact same info in all of them. It is becoming entirely to much.
One of the primary selling points of the game is that it can be played on so many different platforms. For most platforms, they can just release it, but for iOS they need to submit it to Apple who takes a week to 10 days to test it. Apple has a walled garden approach to software and insists on testing every single app that is put up in their store. So that's why the devs really don't know when it will come out.

Koala buddy its happened to the best of us, its a learning curve you will get it soon. As to why, they read their own forum, so they look in the threads as long as you explain what the thread is about in title(to peak interest)
