What would happen to my stash and collected items if STS just started to delete inactive toons?

Everyone gets enjoyment different ways in the game. One of my enjoyment is collecting items . Why should I lose my items and my enjoyment because you want a name?

A name doesn't make you enjoy the game any more or any less
